PS3 slim is an amazing machine to play around with homebrew after a clean jailbreak. The most recent firmware did break some PSP and PS2 emulation on some slim models though. There has not been a new version of rebug to address this yet that I know of.

It's a judgement call, but The Goonies II game on the NES was technically a sequel, even though the original was never released in North America.
Pepper II was titled that way to speak to the duality of the game and how it plays.

Sorry, I should have updated this. I was able to get them from a fellow AA user.

I don't know much about PS3 softmodding right now but I hope there is one that will allow you to use those downloaded titles and patches without getting your machine and account banned by Sony when connected to their services. This also brings up the question if and when they will no longer allow you to hook up the PS3 to PSN for Trophy acquisition and upload. I don't think they'll shut that part down but, given this current situation, it is a fair question to ask.
I totally agree. There are many pieces of software that want to do an online handshake and so on. I really hope there is a final firmware that negates the need for any of that. I bet they think it's OK cause they can sell you the same games again via the PS Classics or a PS Now subscription on the PS4 and PS5.

Using NVRAM you could save as well. Savekey or NVRAM would work perfectly. Hell, do both

Ebay auction each system separately for a week starting at 1 cent with no reserve will get you exactly what the market currently thinks these are worth.

Absolutely not.

Yes you are asking for much more than these will sell for in a timely manor. Others might ask for similar prices but that doesn't mean they will sell. Check sold listings for similar items and you will get an idea how much lower you should be pricing these items for to "clear them out" and get buyers interested in what you have for sale. I will not suggest a price as you inquired about though as the difference between what you are asking and what they would most likey be able to sell for is a wide enough gap that you could be insulted.

Jag games look good in there but the 5200 games could use a better solution.

I can relate to what you are eluding to since I've been working on a port of it, on and off in piecemeal fashion since early 2019. At one point early on, I stopped working on it for about 6-7 months. However, each time I come back to it, I'm reminded that it's not too bad!! With that said, I suppose now is a good time as any to tell the enthusiasts here that a fresh port is much closer than ya think!
I'd estimate it's roughly 65%-70% complete, and by that I'm referring to core game elements which would exclude the title screen, demonstrations, scoreboard, etc. Those I plan on adding last, although I do have an early title screen which needs re-working. Graphics mode is 160A/B and sprites are more or less finished aside from a few needed for the demonstration screens. The palette is very close to the arcade version and sprites were completely redrawn. There are some exceptions with how things look, like with the icicles (not a fan of the arcade sprite), some of the death anims, and green instead of yellow for the alternate POW color.. more fitting for Luigi.. oh, and turtles will get out of their shell.
I do have a little bit of sound in there as well which I think is turning out decently.
Player and enemy movement is mostly completed, aside from the interactions between Mario and Luigi (bumping into each other, jump on-squish). As of late, this project has caught my focus again and thus I have been refactoring the code, fine-tuning things related to player movement and collisions/hit detection with and between enemies. Once I'm wrapped up with that I will share a demo of some kind which will hopefully be sooner rather than later.
The playfield is smaller, but I don't think it's an issue as it's easy to become acquainted with it. As a result the gameplay itself will feel just a tad faster than other ports and not as floaty as the arcade and NES versions. The player movement and platforming elements feel just right though.
I suppose I should create another thread for this? In the interim, I've attached a few screenshots:Looks damn good! Can't wait to play it when you are ready to share!

Though something is worth only what someone is willing to pay for it and I have a hard time imagining people shelling out 10 dollars for a piece of plastic and 20 dollars for a pcb board. Honestly I really have no idea why they bothered to put them up for sale.
Cause Mr. Crane states there isn't anywhere else to get brand new shells or pcbs in "production numbers". And those 27c010 he's selling for $6 a pop? You can get 10 of them for $7.50 with free shipping with very little effort or super duper insider elite industry contacts either. Now if Joe Blow can get 10 of them for $7.50 shipped just imagine how cheap they would be if you bought a couple thousand of them? Starwander has 1:1 copies of the Atari 2600 shells he sells for profit at $5.95, so again, a few thousand of them would make the price stupid cheaper. Label sheets? Corey at 8bitclassics has been selling die cut laser and inkjet sheets about $1 each for a decade. Now on to the PCBs... Well you get the idea.

Same goes for EPROMs and other parts, and die-cut label sheets for a variety of systems. Was already planning on doing this (we've sold boards in the store in the past), and just received a LARGE order of PCBs last week. Will do the same with our new 2600/7800 shells after I receive the first production run.

Was kinda hoping you would chime in.

I had a look at the prices hey have on the boards, shells and OTP chips. Good Lord! $20 for a PCB, $10 for a shell, $6 for an OTP Eprom =$36 USD plus tax and shipping for a single cartridge worth of parts. That would be without buying any of their label sheets either. Instantly they have priced themselves out of the market.
EDIT: The game looks cool and is for sure worth $60. The price of their parts though? Absolutely not.

I found it odd that David Crane said there wasn't 2600 PCB's or shells to be purchased new in large numbers and that is why he had to make his own? The shells I can kinda get as the 1:1 copies of the Atari style shells have only been around for a year or so and others who have made them in the past are long gone (like VGWIZ) but the PCBs? There have been large capacity PCB's available for almost a decade and smaller capacity ones that 99 percent of games use for much longer than that, close to 20 years. The 128K "Circus Convoy" needs could have been easily taken care of with an endless supply of boards. I have 50 of such boards sitting on my desk right now with a copyright date of 2014. The same boards have been used by many people and they are well known to the group as a whole. Same goes for the talk about not being able to get large numbers of smaller chips be it UV EPROM, EEPROM or OTP EPROM. You can still get them 1 at a time or thousands at a time all the way down to 2k chips VERY cheaply without any sort of insider contacts. Saying 128K OTP was the smallest you can get in large numbers is just not true. Some of these things ZPH must be aware of (??). Why he chose not to correct David could have been just to keep it from being a confrontational point calling him out. I did kinda think this episode let Crane run it as a 3 hour ad for the game & the company instead of an actual question and answer interview type deal. The majority of questions asked on the forum where not presented to the 3 guys sadly. Would have been nicer if they kept it a little more honest.

What is the current state of the Megaman and Sonic Triple Trouble conversions? Are they fully playable or still needing a lot of work?

Even if you end up at some point with a slim, the emulation is quiet good and it covers most titles. I wasn't expecting much out of the PS2 gaming side of things after my original BC fatboy died and I bought a slim to replace it but I'm happy to say I was surprised how good it is. PS2 and PSP both. The new version of the CFW is expected to address the loss of PS2 and PSP support on the various slim models that where effected so it will be back to smooth sailing in no time even for those with the current lapse in compatibility. That or you can go back a couple revisions of the firmware and stick to that for PS2 and PSP use via dualboot or the like.
