Programming wise, sure. But for 90% of the game you're looking at a black background. Hardly a graphics masterpiece. The models are nice with the shading and decalmapping, but there's just not much in the way of graphics to look at. You obviously haven't played it networked with a dozen other ships in your view all firing on you!

http://www.jagmod.com This fixes an audio sync problem where the audio was ahead of the video. Many other fixes. See readme.txt for all that's new.

JagMod replied to BuddyBuddies's topic in Atari Jaguar
I don't believe those are the ones with a jaguar in them. Do you see a video screen anywhere on them? I think the jag skycopters are larger. -

Because Battlesphere uses EPROMS, will bit-rot be a problem?
JagMod replied to courtesi's topic in Atari Jaguar
No. They use OTP roms. They are not windowed eproms. -
Good luck with that.

1 out of 15 = 6.66% of the time 1 out of 20 = 5% of the time. I'm saying I have 0% failure with serial transfers. When you are debugging, you want accurate results being returned.
-
And using the UART bug ? There are many problems with incompatible parallel ports on pcs that make using BJL difficult. Not to mention the custom cable which must be built. Serial ports on pcs are very standard and run at 115k. BJL may be faster when it works, but serial transfers work 100% of the time.
-
I suggest skipping the use of BJL, and using serial transfers only.
-
The source to BJL and the uploaders are here: http://www.monlynx.de/download/jaguar/ No need to reverse anything.

I think we should bug the hell out of Brainstorm. The squeaky wheel gets the oil.
-
We are still hoping Brainstorm will cough up the source to wdb, aln, and mac. So far they don't even respond to emails.

Jay doesn't have time to mess with those pesky security updates. Thanks for your help Al!

Make sure you tell CloneCD that it is an audio cd and not a data cd.

Sauron, We'll get passed this. Lots of posturing going on, but as soon as people stop looking they will subside. AA is still one of the best places to find info on jaguar games / manuals / screenshots etc.
