Hey, don't blame me. You have the source too. It's even commented in the ISR that it is forced to 15 fps. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. JagMod

What's the difference between the K series and M series jags when it comes to analog joysticks? JagMod

Actually, it is software limited to 15 fps. Any faster at the 160x200 resolution and you don't see anything but a blur when moving. JagMod

My point is, why does the game have to be a good single player game to be considered worth playing? I play Star Trek: Elite Force multiplayer all the time. But I've only played the single player game once. It was ok, but nothing I want to go back and do again night after night like the multiplayer mode. JagMod

You're correct, only the serious jag gamers will play this game. Besides, soon that won't be a problem. http://home.attbi.com/~delse/ JagMod

Aircars is a fun game when networked. In other words, one copy of it is not enough. JagMod

Unfortunately its difficult to be certain which jag game is pushing the hardware the most. For all we know, the real time raytracing of the three spheres in the BattleSphere menus is pushing the jag harder than the 3d engine itself. JagMod

New builds of Redhad will run the old jag tools, you just need to add support for the a.out binaries. I think all that is necessary is to turn on the switch for a.out support when you compile the kernel. JagMod

Ha! I couldn't agree more. What a piece of poor workmanship. The catbox quality is 1000% over the jag daptor. Then again, I would hope they would have made a real case for it if atari had approved it. JagMod

It was me. Mine looks like a home made proto though. Definately not made from a mold. JagMod

You can view a list of a few titles here... http://www.jaguar.holyoak.com/cdplusg.html

I think that is the only version of Sensible Soccer that exists. JagMod

Can you post a picture of the label? JagMod

The idiot has the alpine board plugged in backwards in the top pic. Hope he didn't power it up that way. Or cram it in there to get it to fit. JagMod

How many different Jaguar Variations are there?
JagMod replied to Thunderbird's topic in Atari Jaguar
Jaguar console specifications 1.0 Video Ports There are four versions of the Jaguar Console: NTSC = USA/Canada version PAL-I = UK version PAL-B = German / European version Peritel/Scart = French version The Jaguar console has an external video connector which supports: Composite video S-VHS video RGB In addition there is an RF Modulator output on all versions except the French Peritel/Scart version. The Peritel/Scart version is identical to PAL-B, except that there is no RF modulator. Composite, S-VHS and RGB are all available on the Peritel version, and have the same timings and characteristics of PAL-B. The various specification timings are shown below: 1.1 RF and Composite Chroma clock Sub carrier (MHz) Sound sub carrier (MHz) PAL-I 4.43361875 591.250 6 MHz PAL-B 4.43361875 591.250 5.5 MHz NTSC Channel 3 3.579545 61.25 4.5 MHz NTSC Channel 4 3.579545 67.25 4.5 MHz JagMod -
>However, they do have the baud rate incorrect, it's actually 19.2 max. I guess I'll just have to try it and find out. > >Mitch Actually, the baud rate is 9600 baud from the jag to the modem. However, the modem can be configured to send/rcv at 19.2. But the max rate from the jag to the modem is 9600. Scott
