I kinda feel that way about many of the intv games from Mattel. Still love them despite the pacing quirks.

Only thing making it tempting is how plentiful Atari games are compared to intellivision. That and it’s such an odd piece of video game hardware

It’s 100 bucks for the INTV 2, which looks in great shape. And then 65 bucks for the system changer. What does that even do? I’ve heard about it before but that’s about it.

As legend has it, that damn invisible robot was a last minute add in that came at the expense of the spiders’ ability to drop webs which would slow down the player character.

Wait no. Look at the score. Can’t be a saucer because they don’t drop down to that level!

Aren’t there a few frames of animation though? Maybe it’s the first or last little bit... I honestly don’t know either.

You ever notice how when the guy falls down from the bats and spider that his sprite looks just like a rotating Space Hawk guy? Wouldn’t it be sweet to make a mash up game where every time you g out knocked down by a bat the game transformed to Space Hawk right on the spot...

I just noticed that when the spider is oriented vertically, it looks almost identical to the crab in Shark Shark! Also, slightly better score:

Also, I just discovered that you can RUN THROUGH those mega bots that flash yellow when you hit them! Not sure how useful that is, but I just used it to my advantage.

What happened to auto racing for game two? What did I miss?

Here’s the thing. I rarely use the bunker. My strategy is to get into a position to where I’m always firing to the left to kill the newly spawned bots. Until I run out of ammo, anyway! I’ve also never seen the bunker destroyed before...

I’m just glad I don’t have to choose the playlist! I really don’t care what games we play but preferably they are games I have in my collection 😆 I’ve got about 40 or so.
