I like the surprise, but this would give me more time to track down a physical copy if it was a game I wanted.

I want to agree with this but I’ve never made it that far. I think some intellivision games take a long time to get interesting, then when they do, the Cliff is super steep. Shark Shark is another example for me. Right around 40-50 k it all falls apart. Which Is fine, except it takes 15 minutes to get there

I think the enemy ships also do more damage. You can quickly lose your early warning beep, making it nigh impossible to complete the game.

That’s a good point. Everything just runs faster for the most part. Except on the higher levels you aren’t allowed to miss any targets on their first time through, right?

Well I think in that game the faster you can bomb the targets the higher your score. You also get points for shooting the enemy ships, but it can force you to leave bombing position. The key would probably be liberal use of the warp speed function.
