Holy...
I should have read the instructions. Lol... I tell that to everyone, and yet I still failed, in this case, to do it myself.

What's with the doors? I've been mostly ignoring them!

I guess I just assumed that since it was a licensed property it wouldn't be any good... Oops.

Holy wow, this is a fun game. Special thanks to JasonlikesINTV for hooking me up with a nice boxed copy of this one.
Dual controller ftw! 😊

I don't have that discipline. I wait till it drys and then lightly blow the fibers out. 😜

No don't wet the magic eraser with anything... They can deteriorate too easily. Regarding the tooth pick, you may not even need it, because the eraser can slide off on the one side of the cart that has less room.
But because it's spongy, you can just cut a thick slice and wedge it in and out pretty efficiently with your fingers.
I do however, suggest combining this tool with the standard Qtip and 90 percent isopropyl alcohol method.
Think of it like giving the cart a dry clean and a wet clean.

You definitely CAN but it's rare. I've seen it several times myself. Maybe it's more of a semi-glitch when it happens.

Has anyone figured out the timing to consistently get 3 hits on the large ships / carriers?

The one thing I would add to the target selection strategy, though, is that sometimes you're better off if you can clear out 4 or 5 low value targets instead of veering over to a lone tank or something like that.

I feel like you fly faster when you're lower. I read the instructions, so I'm getting a good idea of the high point targets and I'm remembering to fly low on the runways.
For our reference:
11,000
Here's a quick run down that should help. I had some of these same questions when I first started playing a month ago or so.
For the most part, you're going to be bombing the targets below.
You cannot shoot the surface-to-air missiles that come up at you.
You can dodge them left and right. Or, by diving down or climbing up.
Occasionally, other fighter planes will attack you. They will match your altitude, but dodging left and right still works.
You can also blast them with your cannons.
It's important to get a feel for what your plane looks like at the various altitudes and what the missiles look like.
It's entirely possible to fly right through a missile if you're sufficiently above or below it.
Hope that helps!

Lol... I got this score a few minutes before the new round was posted, so I wasn't sure if it should count. So I just started over to be safe!

Anyone know how to predict when the enemy fighters will appear? I can't make sense of it... Can't tell if it's score based or random or position based

It's decently entertaining, and changing height is a fun tactic/escape mechanism. The meat of the game is definitely in target selection, so be sure to check out the instructions for score values. Also, it's really satisfying when you nail both sides of a bridge! 🙂
I've gotten pretty good at bridge bombing! Plus I think you get 1000 bonus points if you do it.

Crops = more people = bad
Fishing fleet = same people = good 🙂
What.... I never realized crops had a down side!

If you've never played and you see it for a good price, I recommend it. Like many other intellivision games, it has its share of flaws, but also its charms. It has hardly left my Intellivision since I got it 3 or 4 weeks ago.

Intellivision HSC Season 12 - Game 5 - TRON Deadly Discs

So yesterday I was playing deadly Discs outside with my son. We each had a Frisbee. Well, of course, I managed to hit him right in the face.
