  1. Keep em coming I shall Hey Tommy...now I apologize here because I've mentioned it before through other means and I don't think its getting through as intended. Again I'm going to be after ALL physical when this comes out so some of this is driven by my hope to catch em all. I've mentioned before about a subscription service to ensure that guys like me never get left behind. You've also mentioned that you might have some physical media exclusive to a certain retailer...just like bestbuy does with the occasional Amiibo. WHAT IF...you had a subscription list of guys like me wanting to collect them all? What if when you gave an exclusivity out to bestbuy, target, costco, etc...that exclusivity also came with that subscription list to allow the retailer to directly contact those interested in having first crack at nabbing the physical. The retailer gets to wind up in as many inboxes as you have subs/email addresses on the list...no commitment on the part of the vendor or the customer...basically just a warm ad. Cheers, The Wren
  2. Hey all, As we have time to think about it now I wanted to throw an idea out there. I know Tommy will keep us in clips until the launch and I find myself ever more so thinking of collecting the physical when it comes out. Tommy...you mentioned at one point I think about 12 physical games coming when the launch hits (hope I'm getting that right). Would there be a possibility of making like a super starter 5 pack? Now that you're back to releasing by the holidays...what if you had 5 physical games in a wicked cool package...say night stalker, bowling, bi-planes, Finnigan fox, and maybe some brain age type edutainment game...Retail it for $100.00 ($20 per game) Can you imagine being the kid that gets to open 5 toys, that are also video games on Christmas morning all for less than the price of 2 AAA games anywhere else??? Now the reality for me as a NIB (New In Box) collector is that I'd have to have the 5-pack and then one of each of them separately. Call it the "fantastic five" and hope Marvel doesn't mind Cheers All, The Wren
  3. Hey all, Just wanted to throw out a "tip of the hat" to both @Kamikazi26 and @Humblejack for their excellent help in reuniting me with some classic NIB Intellivision games. Longer explanation in the "deals" or "ebay" Intellivision threads. You guys rock...TYVM The Wren
  4. Hi all, So recently I had the pleasure to deal with a couple of folks from AA in rebuilding my Intellivision collection from when I was a kid. Like a lot of us in here Intellivision was my first console growing up and with the growing buzz to @Tommy Tallarico 's Amico coming in 2021 I wanted to see if I could find these games NIB and with the help of the 2 I'm about to mention I'm almost there First of all is Luc who goes by @Kamikazi26 in here. Luc runs a website called www.intellivisioncollector.com . There you can find tones of stuff from NIB, CIB, to homebrews. Luc responds quickly to messages and is a treat to deal with. Then there is Hank who goes by @Humblejack . Hank sells privately and took the time to educate me on all sorts of things regarding the different types and variants of Intellivision releases over the years. Hank has a comprehensive list of games he has both NIB and CIB. The quality I've gotten from both of these fine gents is fantastic but in the video I'm linking below I show Atlantis (old Imagic game) which is in stellar condition which came from Hank. I've seen many copies of this on Ebay and they are always creased or ripped...this thing looked like it was off the shelf from 1980 and time travelled to my hands. I can gush it was my favourite game Thanks a bunch to Luc and Hank for their help...I'm almost there I'm still looking for NIB He-man, Math Fun, and Tutankham if anyone has any leads. Cheers all The Wren

  6. Loved @OEB_Pete s idea about a physical media list so much...I wanted to do one of my own So how about these: Game Physical Media prediction Cloudy Mountain Running Man with a bow Figure PONG Plain White Cube Side Swipers Hot Wheels Car Night Stalker Small diorama figure of a guy running for a gun with the spider chasing him Biplanes Die Cast Biplane...available as Red Baron or Blue Max Battle Tanks Die Cast Tank Missile Command Missile base with spring loaded firing missiles that actually work! Moon Patrol What else...Moon Patrol buggy....PIMPED OUT! Evel Knievel Evel Knievel on motorcycle Bowling Bowling Pin on a keychain When it happens I’ll mention for good measure that when “Atlantis” is ready to go...how about a snow globe of the city of Atlantis...where the snowflakes have been replaced by little missiles If you haven’t checked out @OEB_Pete s new vid you can find it here: Cheers All
  7. Hey Tommy, Any chance the Amico's E-shop (or whatever it will be called) will just have an "add everything to cart" option. We're so psyched out here for this. There isn't a game I can think of that folk don't have an interest in Game demos keep looking sharper and more crisp! We really want to see the Bowling next, Shuffleboard if its in the pipeline, and more card games (classic and new age) and board games. Cheers! P.S. what about casino type games...everything from Poker, Blackjack, to things like horse racing...are games like this considered to be E and E10 nowadays?
  8. Actually i got these 2 games taken care of...looking for a console still in the not to distant future
  9. @Tommy Tallarico The Stream last night with Level857 was great. You and Vic have amazing chemistry and it was super fun hearing about the early days of EP. I'm excited that G4 is coming back and would love to think you guys might get back together for a ROTR remake of some kind. It was that show (and you both) that sort of legitimized video gaming to alot of my non-gaming friends. Showing the devs as serious (most of the time ) people working on bringing their ideas to life was a side of gaming that people simply didn't know...until you two. Thanks for the memories both then and those to come
  10. I'm with you on this @cmart604. I'd further it by saying even the ones that i'm not sure about only cost $10 USD and most days that's enough for me to take a chance...this system doesn't need to be for everyone but its creating an ecosystem that is affordable and inclusive and that is something the world can never have enough of Cheers All, The Wren
  11. I just read this article based on this post and i have to say...that was the most painfully slanted journalism I've read in a long time. This article was "mailed in". I've used CNET for reviews in the past and found their reviews to be unbiased and even-keel. Evidently they've started a sarcasm division. CNET should be embarrassed by this level of journalism...if you can even call it that.
  12. Hey Tommy, Loved the presentation...so did my wife and daughter. One thing caught my eye for certain was that slick menu system/UI you had when you showed the skiing game load. I have to ask...is this an Electric Playground Easter egg or do floating robotic TV's haunt your dreams CONFIRM or DENY? ==== ????? Plus...Love the "10-20 min" on there (assuming its typical game time) that stat right there is solid GOLD for parents who may not play all that much. Cheers, The Wren
  13. Wow...what a video yesterday @Tommy Tallarico. Tons of stuff in there that both my wife and daughter found entertaining and exciting. My daughter liked Evel Knievel, my wife liked Astrosmash and i liked that they both were exited about games coming out. Its happened before but the enthusiasm in my house right now is sky high! My daughter loved the bit where you were showing the Amico in parts (she thought you were hilarious) and you asked about the glossy or matte finish and she came up with an interesting question... "I think the matte Daddy...because if the controller is glossy won't it give (us) trouble with reflections when you try and look at the screen?" In my heart of hearts i'm sure it wouldn't effect the screen but i thought it was one heck of an observation. Cheers All, The Wren
