Hi guys....I wanted to apologize to everyone. I didn't realize the "no repeat" rule, so that eliminates "Miner 2049" and "JetPac". Black Hole has the 2-player issue. I will look for a new game right now....... -

Thanks for the manual! I tried to find one myself....but failed. It looks like Black Hole has "OPTION 1" (1 player) which is left-ship only (using either joystick). I don't see the ability to pick any option. Does "GUARDIAN" have an obvious way to choose option one? -

Uh oh. I didn't realize it was two player only. Let's decide tomorrow if it works as 1 player. Sorry guys!! -

** January 2021 ** I have chosen "Black Hole". It looks like a great game where most of your time is spent "timing your shot" blakholC.BIN -

Good catch. I didn't think to check the thread. I'll pick something else. I'll use the 'search topic' feature to make sure my next pick was not already played. The first post in this topic has a hole for 2020. It might be nice to update that post as the official list of games that have already been picked. -

Here is everyone's Astro Fighter score for December, 2020: MarkSetGo - 109,500 Count9929A - 74,700 PixelPedant - 64,300 Globeron - 57,600 Vorticon - 51,900 Old CS1 - 45,800 Sometimes99er - 36,600 JBlenkle - 36,400 This was a great pick and there was a good discussion about GROM / Assembly Lang / Cartridge distribution, etc. I'm impressed by the amount of knowledge in this group. Thank you everyone for participating! I'll post the January 2021 title by the end of the day. -

October 2020 Game of the Month - Midnight Mason I chose this game since it looks like it can be played with a keyboard (my joystick is broken), It has ghosts (for October), easy to find (its on Final Grom). I will upload the BIN here too. -

I've never been able to destroy those either. Towards the end of each game, much more of my time was spent avoiding and playing defense. Of course, we don't get points for defensive moves, so it was getting easier to die, and harder to get points. If there is a secret to destroying those mirrors, that would open up a bunch of new levels for me too. -

I thought I would summarize the September 2020 results: 108,900 - MarkSetGo 101,600 - JWild 98,000 - Globeron 82,800 - Count9929A 56,600 - RoadRunner This is my first victory, so it's a big deal! LOL -
