Intellivision Amico - Tommy Tallarico introduction + Q&A

That’s so weird ! As a 53 year old lifetime gamer, “games” like this are just embarrassing to the hobby. I will take the Amico breakout 😀 -

Also, Nintendo has built up that family kid friendly image so people would never imagine this type of game could be on a Nintendo system. The Fact that Sony and Microsoft censored the game (if I am correct) and Nintendo did not is beyond surprising to me. -

It’s good to be aware of this. I still love my switch, but the “old” Nintendo would not have allowed this trash to be in their console. Since the social distancing began, I have actually been playing my Wii and Wii U more that the switch with my family !!! Ready for the Amico 😀 -

Ahhh. Ok . You learn something new every day. I would have thought if this type of game was released at all, it would only be in Japan. It’s very creepy and disturbing 😮 -

Quite surprising. I see only Mary Skelter 2 on the switch eshop in Canada . Is that the same type of uncensored game as part 1 ? Did they ban the first one in North America ? This is surprising to me to say the least given Nintendo previous stance on these type of games. -

That Mary Skelter game is on the switch in that form ? Uncensored ? That would disappoint me. -

I have bought carry bags for a few of my consoles and portables In the past because I love to bring them to friends places and I want to bring the Amico everywhere since my non gamer friends will love it too ! The thing with these types of cases is that in general they have not fit all of the stuff I wanted to bring so I needed a bag on top of the case. As far as the Amico case goes, I would imagine the people that actually buy a bag will have more than 2 controllers. Hoping for place to bring 8 or at least 4 in the bag !!! When I bring it to a friends it’s usually to play with a group. Make room for 8 controllers Tommy !! Wouldn’t that be something ? 😀 -

I have a question for Tommy. I loved the bag you showed for the Amico on your interview with Pete. I saw there is a place for 2 controllers. What about if I have 8 controllers and I want to bring it all for an Amico party night !!! Is there place in the bag for an extra 2, 4 , or 6 controllers aside from the 2 that you showed that fit nicely in the bag ? -

No the same at all. Only 2 players for bowling ? One of the few games that should be able to be played with more than 2 people when using one switch. Who’s the genius that thought of that ? 😮 -

Cranker replied to Tommy Tallarico's topic in Intellivision Amico
I agree and just to add the the discussion, out of the 51 games , only 3 will accommodate 3 players or more on one system. Even bowling is only 2 player. This is disappointing since not many people have 3 or 4 systems at home. That being said I will buy it because it looks fun. For those who say now Nintendo has this game so now the Amico is already obsolete, or that the 51 games covers what the Amico is doing is ridiculous !! Multiplayer with more than 2 people is not easy for the average person, and families with one switch which is most I assume, 2 players is all you can do on most of the games. -

I saw the complete list of the 12 Atari games months ago. I thought it was on Wikipedia or maybe the I.E website......I can’t remember and can’t find it anymore. It was announced as new information but it had been previously posted somewhere. It’s driving me crazy Anybody ? Bueller ? Lol 😂 -

I bought the CD-I for 799US the day it came out. What was I thinking ? 😮 I bet even Tommy doesn’t have a CD-I in that massive collection of everything he has !!! The thing is, I actually had quite a bit of fun with it. I think I mostly played the golf game which was pretty cool at the time. There were more interactive applications than games I think, but I just had to have everything to do with video games back then. 😜 I just found the controller today as I was cleaning out my garage. So weird !!! -

I realize now that the 5200 controllers we’re far from the best, but I never thought about it at the time and did fine with them ! I just wanted to play Video games !!!
