I commented on Pete’s video regarding my concern with how the controls will work with asteroids since all of the translations I have played for Asteroids have had very poor controls since the arcade machine had a very specific configuration and layout that’s hard to work with on any other controller it seems. I don’t recall ever seeing a version that is even close to arcade perfect in terns of either graphics and sounds or controls but I could be wrong. The crisp graphics and sounds were so cool !! I’m hoping for a close to arcade perfect port of the original (I think this is the only game so far where they showed footage of the original and reimagined version) along with the reimagined version. !!!! Asteroids Deluxe was very cool too 😎

I was thinking about Trip Hawkins. He has had many accomplishments in the gaming world (let’s not talk about the 3DO) but he is too old to fit the criteria and I don’t think he retired 10 years ago ! I’m not even sure if he is retired now or not. Also he is too old to have grown up with intellivision. Oh well 😜

I agree. From the few times I played online, I never found it satisfying or fun to win or lose to random people online. That’s just me.

And that one is one of the best. Spelling “extra” and “special” and then collecting all of the veggies !!! I played it on Colecovision for many hours and would love a remake !!

My initial thought is it’s not worth it and Goes against the “mission statement” of the company and create all kinds of extra costs and other sorts of problems. Leave the online games to the other guys !!

I was assuming it would be closer to 25-30 games not counting the 6 pack in games since there are usually less games than predicted for many reasons. I guess it also depends on how many games with be at 9.99. I also live in Canada 🇨🇦 .....and have the exchange rate to deal with. I am Definitely in the minority, but I would go for the “press one button” special and buy them all with whatever discount you could offer !! You only live once and it’s been too long since I have been this excited for a game console and I will end up buying them all anyway so.......... Let’s do this !!!

I just thought of something really cool. Since the games are all $10 or less, this will be the first system (except the N64 that launched with 2 games ..........lol) that I can afford and WANT to buy all of the launch games on day 1 !!! It would also be cool if there was a special day one “press one button” special to buy all of the games at once. I’ll buy them all anyway 😜
