Yeah... it's really cool and super fun to play on Amico.  And the game has never appeared digitally or electronically anywhere else.  The folks at The Op (aka USAopoly) are about 30 minutes down the road from my house and super cool folks who really love what we're doing.  We'll be doing a bunch of their titles in the future.  Blank Slate first, Telestrations 2nd.  More to follow!

    Telestrations is super fun !!

Here is my top 30 games from the last gameplay trailer !

It was very difficult to decide between several titles. Obviously some games that are far down the rankings could easily reach the top 10 when I will play them.

It is not surprising to find at the end of the ranking the games for very young children (mine will be 9 years old) and some games that I do not know.

Then of course what kind of game do I want to play on a day, whether I'm alone, with family or friends will change that !

Regarding Moon Patrol, it has already been in my top 3, but playing on mobile has temporarily dropped it (Hard to control), but I know it will quickly regain its place towards the top! :)

In my top 10, I imagine myself playing these games with my son and his friends.

Dynablaster is quite far away, I played Bomberman so much. It was my game to play with friends about twenty years ago! Still looking forward to giving it a chance.

I know too little about Finigan Fox to put it higher, but I really like platform games. So as of today, here are my top 30!

In Bold are games we know for sure that will come with the system.

    30- Care Bears

    29- Sesame Street

    28- Blank State

    27- Emoji Charades

    26- Pool

    25- Liars Dice

    24- Rigid Force Redux Enhanced
    23- Finigan Fox

    22- Dynablaster
    21- Biplanes

    20- Battle Tanks

    19- Corn Hole

    18- Missile Command

    17- Back Talk Party

    16- Brain Duel

    15- Farkle

    14- Spades

    13- Pong

    12- Side Swipers

    11- Breakout

    10-Nitro Derby

    9- Evel Knievel

    8- Shark Shark!

    7- Major League Baseball

    6- Moon Patrol

    5- Snafoo

    4- Cloudy Mountain

    3- Astrosmash

    2- Skiing

    1- Night Stalker

The 5 games included with the system are in the top 20, and 2 are on the top 3 !
That's really cool to know that some of the great games will be included !

I love the atmosphere and the music of Night Stalker. It will be exciting, stressful and fun !

I hope the Soundtrack will come with the physical game ! :)

Skiing, that should be really fun with the disc pad ! I like the animations and all the surprises that they put in the game !

(Who knows if the skier when he fall in a certain mountain could roll and become a giant snow ball ! lol)

Everything is possible with IE. Did you hear there is a Yeti !?  :)

Astrosmash ...  I played and played ...  Now with beautiful scenery instead of a simple change of color, multiplayer, with Bosses ! ( AND MUSIC !!!)
How can you not make the top 3 !

When I was young, I wrote every minutes I played for everygame. And at the end of the month there was a ranking.

You can bet I will do that with Amico and a ranking for each week ! 😀

Today we are at exactly 6 months away from April 15 ! 👍

I agree with your top 5 !!!! Same but I might add bi planes in there !! I’ll buy them all anyway 😁

I think that is a legitimate concern if they were in active advertising mode for the main audience. My theory is these are just some bones that Tommy is throwing the portion of the retro community that is paying attention and maybe to give some cred about games really being in development for the system. I doubt we will be seeing PC downloads and such once it gets close to launch

I agree. I’m just not a fan of mobile anything and I need the proper controls when I play a game . That’s why space invaders , asteroids , breakout and actually pretty much any game on any console or arcade machine etc loses so much when played without the intended controller . But I get it and it’s still cool 😎

  4. While I appreciate the intellivision team giving us demos , I don’t really have the desire to play the Moon Patrol or Breakout demos on my phone or PC. It’s fun to just test it out a few times but that’s about it. I want to play with a proper controller as it was meant to be played . I think it might give potential customers the wrong idea about what IE is trying to create and give off a mobile phone vibe. Then again the target audience are probably not downloading the demos. Is it just me ?

@mr_me is correct but I just wanted to add the controller has a USB C port on the side, so one of those multi-port USB chargers (I like Anker and Ravpower brands) and a handful of USB C cables will let you charge a gaggle of controllers

Nice ! Any link to one you like best that will charge 6 controllers ? That’s a better idea than having 3 charging stations maybe ? As in it will take up less space ?

Sounds good on the surface but I already know how this is going to work out: "Happy Birthday Grudge! You Get a Free Game!". "Thanks Amico, let me open the store and get my free game... Hmm already purchased, already purchased, already purchased, oh what about... already purchased, already purchased, already purchased...." ;)

same for me !! I’ll have to control myself and not buy a game a month before my birthday !

I'm guessing at the beginning of the new year... but nothing set in stone just yet.  We are waiting to show off all our accessories at the same time... including our physical media and other cool surprises.

I want it all !! Lol

Assuming I get 6 extra controllers and there are no charging stations at launch, would I have to charge them all on the Amico ?

Agreed. Its a very busy screen, especially multiplayer

I agree that missile command looks very  very busy and  in the updated astrosmash demo, things seemed very large, almost too big for the screen , but I’m sure when I play both games I will change my mind. I liked the look of the  original astrosmash demo better. But again , I have not played either of these games so I will trust that the developers will get it right !

I liked everything about the event except for the following details:

    - The delay (but it's not really their fault and it's probably a good decision)

    - The high-profile Distribution Department guy and his daughter looked too serious (not trying to be nitpicking)

    - The fox game (there's gotta be something for everyone, but this game screams solitary experience for me)

It was great to confirm that the console is a reality and many of the people working with Tommy are plain geniuses (the EWJ guys, the Bomb Squad guy, the guys who make Breakout...).

I agree about the fox game. It seemed very out of place compared to the feel and look of the other games. But who knows !

I had to delete my Amico Club app and re-download, as the update wouldn't pull the newest version or register.  Apps.

It's definitely more challenging, I love how the perspective going over a hill gave me trepidation - I was sure there would be a rock or mine waiting for me.  Can't wait to see how multiple players can maybe place the mines (while they're all red color in this demo, I feel may be a vs player option to trip up the current player with well timed placements just beyond the screen?)

That’s what I did . Re-download my app to. Is ur me or is it hard to see what rocks you might crash into or what you need to jump over . I only played once and I’m sure I just need to get used to it. Nice graphic improvements ! I’m playing on a phone with a small screen to.

We have less than 24 hours until the big event.  I don't know if I can sleep tonight.  Lol.  This is an exciting time.  I've never been this hyped for a console before.

I agree . The last time I was this excited for a console was when I got the Super Nintendo with Mario World on day 1 !!! That was a long time ago. I really hope it gets released this year but my guess is Q1, 2021. I hope I am wrong.

For me the biggest surprise would be a confirmed launch date for the Amico. Whether it still be 10/10/2020 or later due to Covid.

We are getting so close to October I think that most of us are getting stir crazy. I've seen enough game previews to already convince me to preorder a founder's edition. Now I'm just excited to find out when I'll actually get to play it.

I agree. A confirmed launch date is the only announcement I really care about. Everything else is a BONUS !!
