I’d love to proved wrong, but I believe they have used backers funds as seed money to pay wages (remembering they didn’t pay Tin Giant) and startup all their other ridiculous projects ... all in the hope that they will be able to chase enough $s to bring it all together ... a lot of their delaying is exactly that ... hoping they can talk shit long enough to fund the 10,000 units ... I don’t believe they have the funds to do it all in one go, hence the freebie units to potential investors etc. All IMHO of course.

So, will they use a verdict against them as an excuse to delay the VCS further? I really wish IGG would simply shut it down and put backers out of their misery. the New ATARI are ATAssoles!

Thinking the same ... the way ATARI operates I am pretty sure I want nothing to do with them long term. I actually think we are going to see a scandal of DeLorean proportions out of their crypto coin and casino

Who me? I’m resigned to getting a doorstop of useless tech by the time we get it ... that’s why I’ve decided to get my jollies out of poking them on a routine basis.

P.S. Atari could easily meet their obligations if thrown off IGG. They have moved order fulfillment to BackerKit and their updates all appear elsewhere before appearing on IGG ... TBH they have been ignoring backers via IGG for a long time and only doing the bare minimum to comply with Kickstarters Rules. it may be part if the next round of delays - being kicked off IGG and blaming “ the haters”

I tried null-console and the high-school intern deleted it. humorously, Don’s Un-Console has now been tolerated ... there is definitely an issue with consistency in moderation... I think it comes down to the Intern’s own bias LOL

Nvidea Shield seems a smaller, cheaper, more powerful, more versatile “console”

Many of these Crowd Funded Cons are simply about keeping it going while they draw down a salary against the funds obtained ... they never intend to produce, it’s about running the con long enough to empty the coffers .... any excuse to extend it, or find more “suckers” is happily embraced and presented as progress. this stuff is way easier than a Ponzi Scheme because they don’t even need to pretend the pot is growing AND “Suckers” are hostages to the scheme, they can’t leave, even if they wanted to.

Asset strip and sell? The press release just stops short of saying the VCS is dead in the water.

A series of emails to IndieNoNo staff and I am magically allowed to post again ... quite curious. i think the ATARI Intern really does have no idea about PR and Corporate Communication ... fail to address negative comments, or worse openly deleting them, can only make things worse in the long run. That ^ is assuming things CAN get better for ATARI.

Yep, I’m done with all crowd funding, it is all a con. that ATARI refuse to communicate with me via any method demonstrates their absolute distain for those who backed them ... their attitude toward backers alone would spell their downfall with no customer loyalty ... even before their bankrupt operational performance.

Well it seems ATARI has managed to block me from posting on IndieNoNo to be expected I guess given they blocked me on their FB site 3 months ago. Curious that you can still post Don Taco? Not being able to post a question in a campaign I have paid quite a bit for seems a denial of natural justice.
