No doubt he will find some reason to get the review pulled. I mean, its written by the master himself, so it MUST be brilliant....any reviews saying otherwise are clearly libelous....

I have no time to go through all the postings" Wow, I mean......wow. So, absolutely and utterly no condoning of ANY of his actions? No need to go thru all the posts - just read the bullet points on page 1, and if after reading them, if you insist that what you have seen is not enough to stop you remaining neutral, it really says a lot about the kind of person you are.....

This was stated openly on a well known podcast available world wide. For clarity, I am confirming that I merely stated what I had heard, and others can hear too if they also listen to it. There was no room full of people, where it was hard to hear etc, where it was a case of "I thought X meant Y when they said it", or "Im sure X said Y" - this fact was simply mentioned, clearly, and I stated on here what I had heard, no more, as I'm not sure people were aware of it, and in the context of what has been discussed over 64 pages, I genuinely think it is unfortunately relevant, as it adds to / confirms the character profile of the person in question. I had also heard that the said same person in question had claimed to have "lost touch" with one of his children, but as it was unsubstantiated, I had never mentioned it or claimed it to be true, as it would have made me just as bad as him, but, again, the rumours / whispers / facts seem to be correlating.....

I will quantify my statement by saying I actually heard it said by someone else who has also posted on this thread, and am taking it at face value, as they seem to have absolutely no reason to make any of it up, and their sources for most things mentioned have, so far, appeared to have been exemplary.

Thing is, he is so warped, he clearly doesnt care if his wife or children stumble across his posts. He genuinely needs medical help. I can see why his first partner and child has a restraining order against him - they clearly found out the hard way what this sick sub human is like, and she wants him no where near either of them for their own safety, which the courts clearly agree'd with.....

tomasparks, Ive just seen his Autisticlaird twitter posts. They are........horrific. Honestly, they are......borderline police involvement. Im not going to mention who is getting his wrath, but its a female he has tried to destroy previously.

Retro Gamer are now fully aware of his antics, along with his shoddy cut n paste "journalism", and he wont be anywhere near them again. Naturally, he spun it so that he was taking some moral high ground and was refusing to work with them again - his usual antics...

I, hand on heart, was just about to mention today that we haven't had a "Ive been hacked" claim for a wee while, and just like the moustachioed fez-wearing shopkeeper from Mr Ben, out of nowhere, as if by magic, up pops the claim. Couldn't make it up.......

Wouldn't it be amazing if at one of the Play Expo's that will, I assume, start up again at some point, there was a panel / discussion on, eg, "the cancer in the Retro Community", where panelist's could tell all present of their personal experiences in dealing with the devious low life two-faced lying scum element of the retro world, and how it backfired, and actually, on the whole, strengthened and united the community. People could ask questions about how it all came to light, how each dealt with it, how to spot the signs etc, meaning the message could be spread even more, so that all the turds on the pavement of life can easily be spotted and avoided. (apologies Landstalker - your line was too good not to plagiarise, lol)

A lot of good points being made here, and I can see all sides of the argument - a genuine adult discussion, with different points of view put forward very eloquently.....unlike the bile usually posted by our stalker friend.... Oh, Deathray Specs, Im a 60's child (just), so yeah, I'm a dinosaur according to the "young 'uns", lol.

I hate posting if it takes the very essence of this thread off course, but, to (in my opinion) put a bit of meat on what Vince has recently said, I was recently informed by the "in laws" that a teenage nephew and teenage niece were "getting a hard time" - they were, I was told, being bullied. I asked if they were being physically attacked, having things thrown at them etc - nope. I then asked if they were getting verbal abuse, being shouted at, being called names at school / in the street etc - nope. Being the naive guy I am, I then asked just what the heck ARE they getting, and I was told that nasty comments were being left on their Instagram and Facebook accounts. I said "erm, couldnt they just shut them down / delete the accounts?" , and the looks I got........it was almost as if "how dare you". I said, genuinely puzzled, "so, if they don't read some online comments, everything else is fine?". Life will carry on perfectly fine without social media accounts. I have never had a Bebo / MySpace, Facebook etc account, and don't see the need - Ive managed perfectly fine in life so far without, and I think (stand to be corrected) that may be what Vice was alluding to. Just to be 100% clear though, I am not condoning cyber bullying or belittling it. I seen the effects first hand - they were very real.

This is exactly what our, ahem, friend wants - the start of in-fighting, arguing, and bickering. I think all have had their say on the above few posts, yeah? Possibly keep this thread on its original course ? (steps back and takes a deep breath, hoping no one says "just who the f#ck does this guy think he is, lol)

I think the ironic part of all this is that Keiren could have did what the politicians do when caught with their pants down - they come out in front of the camera's, make a grovelling apology, say "look, Ive been stupid, I've apologised, now lets all move on" without meaning a single word of it, and that's it. He could have done that, not meaning a word of it, and it would have left a lot of people with, well, no where to go, as he could rightly say he's just realised he was a fud and subsequently apologised, but instead, he battoned down the hatches and started up his very own Steve Jobs reality distortion field. As mentioned in several posts, the picking apart of his reviews, in isolation, looks childish and petty. However, in the context of how he has many many times venomously ripped apart other publications for inaccuracies, typo's, poor grammar etc, my personal opinion is that it is right to highlight his sheer hypocrisy. To Pixels Ltd, fair play to you. My father, bless his soul, has always insisted that there is good in everyone, although with some its admittedly harder to find, but Ive came across a few people over the years to make me strongly disagree with that. Just had a read thru on that link above, and noticed this gem: Did you ever have a go at writing any games? I did actually for the BBC Micro, ZX Spectrum and Atari ST. I never got any further than using BASIC though and many of those projects are long gone. I did manage to recover a few disks of stuff that had been rotting in my dad’s loft though a few years back and that was really cool seeing those projects again, even if I didn’t even understand a lot of my own code! I stand to be corrected, but didn't he claim something bizarre like he wrote Steve Davis Snooker for the 128k Spectrum?

With spelling that bad, it has to be our friend Keeeeeeeerinnnn. I wish I had an auto spell / grammar check option before reading his posts. Honestly, they give me a sore head. I think I can now tell when he is at his angriest, when the venom is pouring out....the worst are when he must be bashing away so fast (oh err missus) the Queens English seems to vanish into oblivion. But honestly, those posts....ignoring their actual content per se, the grammar......from someone who derives their income from writing......I mean....wow.
