1. Truth Sayer is a very reputable source.  If you do not like what he had to say, I suggest you find a new place to try and sell things through.  If I see another thread like this one, I am deleting it immediately.

Sorry if I hurt your feelings...

I see that the all site has the same democracy treatment for who do not agree with an opinion...

Did you read what I wrote? I do not sell anything here. I did not sell anything on ebay either.

Truth sayer is a very reputable source...he is very popular in my country (and his country too)... he knows everything about atari and has a great website himself. I know that all the BIG GUYS here have a good relationship with him... but I thought that to have 2 IDs here on AA is break some rules. I really prefer his true name… it’s much better than this one… If I was talking with his real name, I never would discuss with him… but how he resolved to use a “Spy” name or whatever, I just realized that that guy was the so famous Brazilian collector when the topic already was closed.

Anyway take your site for yourself...I don't want to participate in a forum where moderators are dictators at all. Give a big favor... delete my account if you can.

I don't see a way to turn me off by myself.

Goodbye...with no sadness...I will not be missing anything... neither you all.

  2. I happen to know who Truth Sayer is, and if he says this is a fake, it's a fake.

    What a Democracy! :x

I know him too…but not w/ this ID.

Now, go ahead and lock this Topic too… or simply delete it.

I don’t care. I just wanted to say that.

In a freedom country like this still have people with mentality of dictators and tyrant like you.

If you want to cancel my AA account, I don’t care too…

I don’t sell anything here or on ebay. I just buy Atari stuff for my collection that I love.

  3. First of all, I made a little correction at my previous post, the guy in the picture is actually Dablio. Ricardo Pontual is not in the picture. Anyway, the cart is FAKE and that's what matter.

It's seems like you only came here when that multicart was listed. Therefore all I see you doing is criticizing anything that is Brazilian. So, you must be very unhappy being Brazilian, deep down inside you wish you were American.

I won't reveal my identity, all I can say is I have very good sources in Brazil. Anyway, I have nothing against American people, don't know what you're trying to imply. Those guys faking the cart are real crooks. Check below if you didn't get the picture yet.

This is not the original “Air raid by ManAVision “anyway, everyone can see that. We all know that in the mid to late 80's Brazil was a hot bed for all kinds of crazy named underground brands of pirated games. The important thing is there are original unauthorized and unlicensed games all over Brazil.

I am sure whoever would bid on that game or any of the Brazilian copies of the very rare Holy Grails in the authorized Atari World know that they will not pay the same price for all those rare legit games.  The buyers are not stupid.  I know people in Brazil real Atari collectors, heavy duty Atari Collectors go nuts over the original American games and collect label variations. So, the guy who's buying that game would like to have that game. The bottom line is he is a collector and he wants a different label and a different game and the pleasure to say that he has something from Brazil.

It's MenAVision brazilian girl, not "ManAVision".

I didn't say in any instance that this cart was original. We are NOT talking about a label variation here, please read my post again. You're very WRONG.

THIS CART WAS NOT MANUFACTURED BY DIGIVISION. It it was made by a guy named Eduardo Luccas, I said that and you didn't seem to get it.

If it was made by a Brazilian company, as you implied, a curious label variation it would be. Since it was home made by a collector, it "could" be a reproduction. But, since this collector used other company's label to make it seems original and legit, this is a SHAMELESS FAKE.

Guys: won't anyone warn e-bay about that? Or would anyone let the buyers know about it? As I said before, this kind of people only go against honest Brazilian people.

    945889

So... I will not buy this cart anyway and it's not my auction here.

I have no reason to sit here and wast my time on it.

  4. My question to the seller is this.   How many copies of the game do you have?  and also

how many copies of the game  exist in your country? :ponder:

    944453

    Hi there,

WOW ! I know I have 2 copies, and I'm just about to open one of them to be tested before the auction ends. Regarding my 2nd. copy, I will be keeping it for my own collection.

How many copies are there in my country ? Well, that's something I wish I knew. When I managed to get this 2, the only cartridges left, were the ones I managed to get. In other words, THIS TWO

    944461

Hmm, thats strange here you state you only have 2 video games, but now you are saying you have more than one opened box and sealed box explain this one to me :ponder:

    945891

    THAT'S WHAT I SAID.

  5. OK everyone !!!   :?

This is all absolutely controversial and a bit too technical for me  :?:  ; but as always, I will try to do my best in order to most-properly describe all items I sell. Please follow my thoughts below, and let's try to work this out the best way we can for the benefit of ALL of us.

This is what I have thought :

1 - Since I have 2 SEALED copies, I will unwrap one of them and I will try it in my ATARI JR system ( This will probably be done before Sunday ). NOTE that both boxes were taken from the same packaging box ( This will make them identical, right ? )

2 - From what I know ( PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I'm WRONG ) Software written for NTSC machines (North America) will (almost) always work on PAL machines (Europe), but software designed on PAL machines won't necessarily work on NTSC machines. I'm I RIGHT or WRONG ?

3 - I understand that game colors, depending on the formats ( PAL - NTSC ) , should change, Right ? I mean, character and background colors should change !

If all the above is correct, and if I test one of the cartridges,

DOES ANY ONE KNOW the correct colors for PAL and for NTSC :?:

If it does work on my NTSC console and TV Set, does this mean the cartridge is NTSC ?  ;)

I'm TRULY willing to HELP and SELL here, so unwrapping a copy is no problem for me, BUT I want to make sure once I do, I WILL DEFINETELY and ABSOLUTELY know the TRUE FORMAT of this cartridges !!!

I hope you all get my point here, and PLEASE remember that English is not my native language, so sometimes I may not use the right words or expressions !!!

Regarding your questions and requests mcgrail0007, all I can say is that I registered my eBay account while I was in Vegas three years ago, and I haven't really taken my time to change such preferences !!! I beleive what is more important here is MY FEEDBACK and not really my location; BUT , I do understand your concern. PLEASE, just read all my SELLER feedbacks, I have shipped to many different places without any problems !!!!

Again to you all, PLEASE HELP ME DESCIDE what would be best for YOU and ME ! I have been making a living through eBay for quite sometime now, and I would NEVER do anything stupid to harm that in anyway !!!

Awaiting for your replies and MOST-APPRECIATED HELP

    mabb96

PS I might not reply until Sunday because I have learned the IMPORTANCE of both: 1. WORKING and 2.SPENDING TIME with my wife and children !!!  ;)

    944187

BUT YOU SAID IT YOURSELF. LOOK AT YOUR POST FROM LAST WEEK... YOU SAID YOU HAVE 2 COPIES... I DIDN'T SAY IT.

    SO I DON'T UNDERSTAND

    2 COPIES - 1 SEALED/ 1 OPEN

2 AUCTIONS OF 2 OPEN IDENTICAL GAMES

DON'T GET ME WRONG... I AM NOT BASHING YOU OR YOUR AUCTION, I AM JUST TRYING TO UNDERSTAND. TAKE SOME CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM.

YOU'LL PROBABLY ATTRACT SERIOUS BUYERS IF THEY SEE THE PHOTO OF THE ACTUAL GAME.

  6. SORRY, I forgot the link !  :D

It looks like the same game that is listed as a 7 day auction and still is at $1.75

    http://cgi.ebay.com/Atari-2600-7800-MOTORO...1QQcmdZViewItem

The photo is the same. as well. I don't understand? How can you sell two games, at the same time in separate auctions where you said in the earlier thread that you had a sealed copy.

I thought you opened one copy where's the photo of the sealed game? Where is the plastic? The two adds share the same photo.

Which auction is for the sealed motorodeo?

Account in the United States and game in Venezuela? I still don't understand.

  7. Hmm... it looks like a task for... The TRUTH SAYER :)

This is fake. The history is: this cart was made by Eduardo Luccas, moderator of a Brazilian Yahoo group named Canal3. This cart was, originally, a prize won by the seller, Ricardo Pontual, in a Warlords tournament. Now, this "honest" seller is trying to let it pass as legit. Well, I guess it's not!!!

Those very close discussion group moderators usually keep Atari stuff for themselves, it's not a community like AtariAge, which endorses collaboration and open discussion. Messages posted to the C3 group are moderated. When there's something of their interested, they hold and buy first. When there's something they don't want to publish, they simply delete.

Needless to say, they're friends with the same "manufacturer" of the multi-cart sold by Road_runner, mentioned here: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=6&t=76841 . Not trustable sellers to deal with, stay away by all means!

    Wanna proof? Check those links:

Pictures of one of their meetings. Shows the fake cart.

This is the fake cart picture if you wanna jump directly.

The happy and honest seller shows his prize.

Digivision carts are vey easy to fake, cause the name of the game appears only in the upper label, and it's usually typed on white paper.

Unfortunately, those kind of people stains the good Brazilian Atari community name. In Brazil there are very honest people, and I hope most of you stick to the good example of Bonaccorsi, which is a honest and very reliable seller to all videogame collectors in the World.  I hope everyone was like him.

    Whatever

Voce deve ser um dos que perdeu o campeonato, nao?

Translation: " You must be the sorriest individual who must have lost that particular Championship". It's ok to loose honey, part of life, I guess.

It's seems like you only came here when that multicart was listed. Therefore all I see you doing is criticizing anything that is Brazilian. So, you must be very unhappy being Brazilian, deep down inside you wish you were American.

Yes, English has become the Universal language...but your English is not so good either and neither is mine.

So, be proud to be who you are... and stop to talking nonsense’s.

And let the guy sell his trophy...he deserved it.... he just won the championship.

Be nice to people and people may be nice to you.

  8. It looks as if it is rolling on his tv

    945498

I don't think it is rolling. Depending on the shutter speed / film speed, you will see the refresh rate on the screen, normally undetectable by the human eye (you will often see this on news programs where someone is being interview in an office and the computer behind them has a noticeable flicker from the refresh rate).

This isn't the R10 MenAvision release, but AA has no listing for a Digivision title so named. All Digivision titles look to be South American and NTSC.

    945609

    You are absolutely right.

  9. It looks as someone could really use some English lessons. (check the subtitles)

    945590

This guy is BRAZILIAN, just like me....

He lives in Sao Paulo...There, he speaks Portuguese...maybe he had no opportunity to learn another language.

It's not his obligation to know English deeply...just enough to sell his stuffs.

There are so many kinds of cartridges over there... I had one of this in my own collection and it's not roll in my American NTSC TV, because the carts in Brazil are in NTSC formats, just the consoles are PAL M.

  10.

And I thought that CRAZY CLIMBER was rare either...

    So, WATERWORLD...

    And QBERT QUBES...

But recently we are watching every week 2 or 3 for sale on Ebay.
