nice progress, as usual (almost) perfect work can't wait to see the complete game thanks for your time and effort you put into this game!
-
at least you are not stopping it so it's good news! thanks for your efforts!
-
that's fun to play, thanks!

It's a good release, no doubt. Unfortunatly not many people are giving feedback and almost every author of programs is suffering from the same problems. Nevertheless, keep up the great work!

PDRoms Coding Competition #3.99 - 24.01. - 02.03.2008
Kojote replied to Kojote's topic in Atari 2600 Programming
this is actually the eight coding competitions so far, with the second time for atari 2600 support. at least the past 5 coding compos had a thread in my board at http://www.pdroms.de/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=57 i wrote albert when i first time added a2600 to the list of allowed system, but did not got any support for whatever reason, which ended in no a2600 entries, which was quite a pitty. in case you are worried, everyone who took part in my compos recieved the prize so far you may ask ppl from gba/nds/gp32/gp2x scene on that the only desaster we had with prizes was 2 years ago, when one of the sponsors got bankrupt and could not deliver the promised tshirts to each contestant. the other prizes were paid from my pocket. pdroms also supports the a2600 scene whereever possible, but i don't have support from anyone directly involved in that scene. it's hard to keep track of over 20 systems on my own, specially with the amount of nds/psp and gp2x releases these days. hope that information helps regards koj -
Hello everyone! It’s time for a new coding competition powered by PDRoms - one of the supported systems is the Atari 2600, which might be related to this place The complete list of allowed systems as follows - Atari 2600, Coleco Vision, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Game Gear, Genesis/Megadrive, GP2x, Intellivision, Master System, Neo Geo Pocket, Neo Geo Pocket Color, Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), Nintendo DS, PC Engine, Playstation Portable (PSP), Wonderswan, Wonderswan Color. All the detail information you need will be public on 24th January 2008 at the PDRoms webboard, in particular here: http://www.pdroms.de/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=405 Currently there are already two prizes to win. All I can say for now… “4 colors are enough!” – Spread the word and join the challenge! Kojote / PDRoms P.S.: The amount of prizes might raise during the compo time! Contributions are welcome.

bloody hell your effort is really appreciated and a big thanks to you and your students for relasing this stuff. i was hunting after some homebrew gba games from a programmers school recently, but they were blocking and didn't release anything to the public, tho they illustrated things on their page... anyway *thumb up*! i will post about every single game 100% atari 2600 can need lots of attention in these days where the majority homebrew is psp and nds only. -koj ps: you may put them on a seperate page or mark them as "new", which will prevent confusion to last years releases - just don't mix it up with the old page

Not 100% correct... There is a game called Froggy (1k Frog) It's very minor, but it's also only 1k. You could grab the file from http://pdroms.de/files/1251/

as long as you don't 100% drop it, it's fine

Wrong Way! for ColecoVision - very early WIP
Kojote replied to 5-11under's topic in Homebrew Discussion
pdr stands for pdroms, a site which reports about homebrew console/handheld stuff. due to recoding there is only a very basic version with news at pdroms.de a very alpha version of the new page with downloads and other crap is at pdroms.org (user: beta / pass: wurstsalat) - but pretty useless for the public atm... update: a mate over at http://www.dev-fr.org posted about it too ^^ update2: http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=75236 (maybe it still shows up at the main page dcemu.co.uk when you check it ^^) -
