Unpopular opinion: Graphics in games (either good or bad) have never added or detracted from my enjoyment of a game.

I just dumped a 2532 EPROM from a VIC-20 cartridge. As a copy protection measure, all bits are reversed so 11000000 are stored as 00000011 etc. Took me a while to figure out.

Is the government being run by lizard people? When did that conspiracy theory start? Why? As a joke? Did anyone actually ever believe it?

There's a bird's nest underneath our awning. I've seen the momma bird feeding the babies a few times.

It's a scorcher out there. Sweating my butt off just to save some money on the electric bill. Literally feels like opening an oven when you step outside

Poll time: Growing up, in your household was it "what's that got to do with the price of tea in China" or "what's that got to do with the price of fish"? (My household it was the latter.)

In Norway we say "goddag mann økseskaft" (hi man axe-shaft). It is from a fairytale about a guy who is hard of hearing, and when a policeman says "hi, man" to him, he thinks he is asking him what he is working on, so he says "axe-shaft".
Some, including my family, say "goddag mann hostesaft" (hi man cough sirup). I think the extra absurdity of that is an improvement.

@Tickled_Pink Sorry for hijacking your Status Update. Maybe you will have more luck posting a thread about it.

Don´t bother, it is too much trouble relative to how much I would expect to play it.
I managed to increase the size of the screen in DosBox by lowering the resolution, but my eyes get tired when I watch something that is not 720p or higher. I can also increase the size of the screen without lowering the resolution, but then the text becomes too small for my eyes and the game becomes way too slow.
My eyes get tired easily. The only way I potentially could play the game without my eyes getting tired, is if the resolution could be 720p or higher without the text becoming too small. But even then the reduced amount of blinking one does when playing games, would still probably make my eyes tired.
So a thousand thanks for offering to help, but I would feel bad about you wasting your time on this hopeless endeavour. You seem like a great guy who is going to become very popular around here.
I found a place to download (different iterations of) the game and find serial numbers:

According to the biggest Stars! forum I know of, which is basically dead, the problem seems to be running the game on 64-bit Windows. So a guy has tried to make downloadable versions that will work on such a Windows.
The first version I tried was Starswine4. There is a link at the top of the first post:
https://starsautohost.org/sahforum2/index.php?t=msg&th=5622&start=0&rid=0
Stars! is such an obscure game that it is hard to find it now. No one is selling it anymore. I don´t know where you could download it (I haven´t looked closely). And even if you could download it, you would need a serial number to make it work. So I don´t have the original game on my current PC.
Here you can play Stars! by streaming it:
https://classicreload.com/win3x-stars.html
But the resolution is poor, the screen is not full and it makes my PC make a lot of noise (fan).
Here is a guy playing Stars!:

I wasn´t able to fix the problem. I came as far as "Virus & Threat Protection". But then it turns out that Microsoft Defender was already turned off, and there didn´t seem to be a way to reach "Manage Settings" and "Exclusions".
I use Windows 10.
The game I downloaded was originally made for Windows 3.11, and the version I downloaded was supposed to use a Linux emulator and Wine or something to enable the game to run on Windows 7 and later.
I am gonna try another version of the game instead that uses DosBox. I will let you know how it goes.
Thanks for the help anyway, and welcome to the forums.
