  1. OKAY FOUND THE PROBLEM I must tap "C" configure several times until it set the right address. The address it was setting was bogus. 3 or 4 times of tapping the "C" key gets things right. Whew! My previous question still stands. Can I use the 5G network that is available to me on the Atari?
  2. Okay slowly making progress, i think. Can the FujiNet work on the 5G network? Or must I use 2.4Ghz?
  3. I think my router is on the fritz as it is assigning me an address that doesn't exist. Bummer.
  4. Okay thank you Thom. I've managed to view the file but can't see the network config part as in: 192.168.254.21 Is it just missing? 5. I am unfamilar with the EXEC type of file fnconfig.ini. I'd like to get into it and change the access numbers to reflect what I have. Perhaps this is why I can't get onto the net. Anyone here familar with this file type?
  6. Indeed but can I change the config.ini file from a word processor to fix this issue. It's a replacement FN from The Brewing Academy as they replaced my unfixable FujiNet recently.
  7. Yes it does look that way yet I have no control of the FujiNet update. Should I press RESET on FN while it's updating? Latest debug scan: Using 'COM38' as serial port. 9. Yes holding down the A (white LED) button switches between Bluetooth (blue LED) and WiFi (white LED). While the white LED is still on (USB powered), I switch on my Atari and it still refuses to boot. Also it doesn't matter if I am powering the FujiNet via USB power or internally via the Atari 800XL. The results are identical - no boot up.
  10. I still have a broken FujiNet and refuses to boot up. This is a major problem (software problem I'm guessing) that renders the device useless. I wish someone could offer a solution other than purchasing another one. These are my thoughts for today.
  11. Yes I did this by holding down the WiFi button which turned off BT.

Thanks for helping out. BT blue LED out and white LED full on. Still can't boot. Same issue.
  13. I'm sorry but I don't know what a debug monitor actually is nor how to access it. Please advise. Is it within my Atari?
  14. When I RESET the FujiNet all LEDs within the case dim. Then I turn on the Atari 800XL and the orange (right most) LED lights briefly and the white LED (left side) lights up but I ALWAYS get dumped into the READY prompt / blue screen. FJ just doesn't "Catch". The blue LED stay on always.
  15. Today I updated my FujiNet device as I thought it would finally clear up the problem that's been bothering me since the last update (December). The problems started after the previous update by "killing" my FujiNet. It didn't boot up anymore and I assumed it was because I was disabling BASIC by holding down OPTION. It finally did boot up when I didn't press OPTION and I thought that issue was cleared up but today I couldn't get my device to boot no matter how manly times I reset it. So, today I noticed that there was a new update and I updated my device. Still doesn't work! It's dead. Even though all three LEDs light up and the RESET button seems to work I always get dumped to the READY prompt and the FujiNet never "catches and boots". Anyone else experience what I'm experiencing? My FujiNet IS BROKEN and I don't know why. I think this qualifies as a bug.
  16. I realized what the problem was/is. Previously before the latest update I had always held down the OPTION key to disable BASIC as I seldom used it. Now I realize that BASIC is often used in and along with the FujiNet device. The one time I didn't hold down the OPTION key is when the FujiNet device booted up correctly. There is nothing stating this new development so I was surprised indeed. All is now well.
  17. Alert! Today my FujiNet stopped working completely. I've been away for the past 3 weeks and when I turned on my Atari 800XL I get dumped into the green screen test page. Has something happened that I'm unaware of? I thought I might need an update so I performed on just a short time ago. Still no luck.
  18. Good news! With the latest FujiNet update, December, I am now able to print using Italics, Underline and Expanded fonts within my word processor. This is fantastic news. Thanks go to Jeff Piep for is tireless work and dedication on the FujiNet project. One happy camper. Alfred Olivas Gresham, Oregon
  19. Hello all, I'm not sure if this is where I need to post my newby question but here goes: In using an Atari SDMax drive and also, lately, the FujiNet device, these use, typically, the .ATR format to read and write data to an SD card or to the net. This, for the most part, works out just fine. Lately I've wanted to install some additional fonts (.FNT) into my word processor, which accepts them, but haven't figured out how this is done using either the SDMax or the FujiNet. I can create an .ATR blank and formatted disk image easily enough. I can also install a .FNT file onto an empty drive slot as well. The problem is that my WP program can't see the disk image with the .FNT data on it as it's not formatted in an .ATR image. It wants me to format it but if I do then the .FNT images gets erased and I have another blank .ATR disk. If I try to put the .FNT data into the .ATR formatted disk then the formatted disk gets erased and I can't access the .FNT file that I need. Round and round I go with the same issues. Can anyone here help me understand what I am not doing correctly? It doesn't seem a complex problem to me but then again the .ATR format is quite new to me and perhaps I just don't "get it". Any guidance or help would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Alfred Olivas Gresham, Oregon
  20. Oops. Nevermind about the BOLD print. EMPHASIZED works just fine.
  21. Happy Sunday! I looked at your printout-30.pdf and just wanted to tell you that that is I am after! Did you, can you use 8=PICA with all 8 options, but I didn't see BOLD there. Hope it won't take up too much memory. Was also wondering if you could instead use the PrintShop Epson selection and perhaps not have to write out all the memory taking data. Just a thought and thank you for working on this issue that I'm sure will help many others get what they want from their Word Processors. On a different note I was looking at a YouTube video posted from Thom Cherryholmes which showed him downloading .ATX files and running them. This was posted perhaps a few months ago and the reason I am asking is that because I don't have a working disk drive attached to my Atari and therefore can't load a particular program that I own, I found it at a site which only had .ATX files of the program I am speaking of. I downloaded it and attempted to run but it just keep rebooting until I shut it all down. The program is XLEnt Software's Megafont II+ which I have also found in .ATR but it is corrupted and doesn't work. Just asking. Thank you for addressing my concerns in regards to the printing issues.
  22. Because it runs on Catalina I'm wondering if it is backwards compatible with High Sierra, which most older iMac users have.
  23. Yes I was interested and I looked over the code you wrote. I just don't know where it goes. I know that it's not in the FujiNet app as I've tried every one of them. I will be patient. Please have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday to you and yours.
