  1. Why do people like things to go up in value? I hate it! I don't care if I own something and it is not worth much. I want it to not be wrth much so i can get a replacement or replacement parts easily if I need to, and I don't want it to be expensive in the first palce. I am not running a business, I do not intend to sell it because I am interested in it for what it is and because I like it. Apparently Lynxes have shot up in value and megadrive's are more than than i remember them used to being. Now I'm scared SNES are only going to go up. Then you have those crackhead lunatic swines on ebay advertising master systems and PS2s as "rare and hard to find" and it makes you want to stick knives in their eyes. Apaprently Jags used to be cheap as recent as 2008. Apparently Mega Turrican is mega rare as well and you wouldn't belive that Sonic 3 is actually expensive. Don't get me started on sega saturn and N64. And then you have got those people happy about reliant scimitars going up. So I guess everyone other than me jsut buys everything ever immediately and then enjoys seeing prices go up?

What if you paid a lot for it and now it isn't worth anything anymore?

@CPUWIZ Then you'd be annoyed, but only if it happened quickly and you never got any use out of it. Sorry i'm in a bad mood especially 40 minutes ago.

  2. Last Wednesday, on the 27th of may, my cat, Toby, died of kidney failure. He was about 13 and a half years old, having been born in December 2006, and as I am only nearly 16, I have known him for all of my living memory. I didn't interact with him all the time as he was often out, and I didn't usually worry or notice not seeing him for most of a day, so it has felt surprisingly normal after his death. That is not to say I don't miss him. The first day after his death was the worst, though we had sort of already started mourning before he died when we knew he was on the way out.
