Hi All,
Occasional lurker since about 2000. Man this website has been up for a while!
Australian 2600 user here, around 7 years ago I replaced my PAL system with an NTSC system. Subsequently re-aquired most of my games, just have a couple left which I'm curious - if there may be another user out there interested in a direct swap:
HERO
Bump n Jump
I have a few others that are not 'critical' but if we are swapping the above and the below happen to also be in your possession - then happy to also direct swap while we're at it:
Cross Force
Dig Dug
ET
Street Racer
Superman
Boxing
Thanks for reading!

Burgertime 2600 (M-network/INTV) distinguishing between revisions.

Hello! Occasional lurker since around 2000.
I've been interested in having a play with the original 2600 Burgertime port, however it appears that there may be multiple revisions of the cart, from what I've read on this website, quick excerpt:
"Evidently 2 versions of the 2600 cart exist. Later production runs added a choice of difficulty levels using the TV TYPE switch (B/W = easy, COLOR = hard) to fix a bug where the eggs and dogs were taller than they should be and they could catch the Chef when they were walking on the plank below him."
I see that there appear to be a couple of label versions of the cart:
Both of which are documented in AtariAge's database.
To the best of my investigative skills, there is a HTML manual for the M-Network (blue label) cart, which indicates that there is no change in difficulty level. Going by this logic I guess I might deduce that the INTV (white label) cart would be the one with the "B/W-Col" difficulty switch and hence also the updated code to remove bugs.
I'd be making these conclusions based on 1) The HTML manual is definitely for the correct cart version - and 2) The information on the above website regarding the bugs, is factual.
Would be interested to hear any confirmations about this, thanks for reading!
