Hi all, Just wanting some clarification. Is it correct to say if I swap out an NTSC TIA for a PAL and then install a composite mod removing the RF component it should convert the console to PAL? Or, is there more hardware involved with the NTSC process? With the AV mod, would I follow the PAL conversion procedure or stick with the NTSC version? Many thanks for your help on this one. Hi all. Love the Atari 2600, so much so I refurbish and sell to other vintage gamers. I have refurbished many 2600's and have had very few issues doing so. I also install composite mods on most units as that seems to be more appealing. On a recent refurb I have an issue with a black rolling screen on power up. Audio us crisp and can be heard but the image is non existent. All IC's have been tested and power seems fine at the regulator. Any tips on what else the issue could be? I have obviously checked all soldering work and cannot find any issues. Any help would be appreciated. It is a PAL Light Sixer I am working with and have installed a composite mod (that has also been tested) Cheers and thanks. Jad

Hi all, I am trying to work out if the PAL version of Bomb Assault on the 2600 is actually a “9” rarity or if it is only relevant to NTSC. Here is Australia I have a couple bomb titles but unsure if they are worth the $$ as predicted on price charting etc. many thanks
