Here was a very early mock-up we did about a month after we got the official license and started working on it.  I'm not saying the game is going to look like this... this is merely a quick and early mock-up we did based on the original look of the game if it were reimagined.   A lot of the proportions are incorrect and again... merely only a very early mock-up just to start getting some initial ideas.  We did 4 or 5 of these, but I thought this one was pretty cool.

Let me again repeat... this is JUST a mock-up and .jpg... but something to maybe get folks a little excited.

Did I mention this is only an early mock-up?

    :)

Looks good Tommy, thanks again for giving us an early sneak peek. Might be too early to ask, but will the perspective be top-down for the whole game or will the screen be split for pitching/batting (similar to below):

    Here's a question folks!

What name do you like better...

    Armor Battle or Battle Tanks?

Armor Battle was the stand alone that showed the tanks in like a 3/4 perspective.

Battle Tanks is what it was called in Triple Action (which is more of the style of the new game we're doing).

Which name would you prefer and why?

    Thanks!

My vote would be for Battle Tanks. Armor Battle definitely has the nostalgia factor, but the name has some sort of medieval knight-battle type sound to me.

  3. Hi all, professional thread lurker and FE buyer here. As many have said before, I also appreciate @Tommy Tallarico's and @RxScram's enthusiasm and willingness to share insider information as well as detailed specs/concepts/etc. on an ongoing basis with this small group here. This type of communication of the ups as well as the uncertainties is pretty much unheard of these days and the transparency is refreshing.

Really looking forward to the Amico to play with the family whenever it is able to be released. I have played several local games with the kids over the years (Rayman, Tiny Brains, Trine, Little Big Planet and others) and am hopeful that the Amico gives the whole family the opportunity to work together, compete, as well as beat up on each other when the situation warrants it! (Boxing was the original Intellivision game where my father beat up on me!)

Also, looking forward to the new footage which hasn't made its way to me email yet. Hope to get more involved in this group here in the near future.

    Thanks!
