  1. Hey Tommy, I found something that might interest you. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AirConsole https://www.airconsole.com/ It seems to provide and promise similar games like the Amico (but obviously isn't 😄). I don't know. Take a look if you will?
  2. Suddenly I feel like a reverse advertiser 🙄 Also, holy crap guys, I'm seeing 32 comments! Guess I should link more reddit posts if they come up?
  3. https://www.reddit.com/r/Amico/comments/go9en3/clubhouse_games_for_switchis_this_concerning_for/ Interesting concern raised on the Amico's reddit page. Any thoughts?
  4. Yeah, I tried... Here we can make out "Accessories" which he does mention later in Pete's video. I can't seem to make anything else out of that page though. Same thing, but I can't read anything on the second page either. Here's another where I can make out something"Pre-order" and is probably the clearest image. This cuts off half of the page anyway The first line is soundtracks and the second is maybe "particular camf" but I'm not confident on the last word there. Third line might be GHiF recel RFiD - no idea, but it sounds like something I wouldn't understand anyway if it is a real thing. Of the fourth line I can make out "Ziff" and something else after that and the fifth line goes "to Fa...tes" but even then there's no context before that. Now text aside, I did a bit of research into the Wonka Bar book itself from the seller pages. Two sources should be enough here. https://www.sears.com/the-coop-wwco339-the-coop-willy-wonka-bar/p-A069151754 https://www.amazon.com/Willy-Wonka-Journal-not-machine-specific/dp/B06XZCCSZ8 From the Amazon page. The Sears page says there's 120 pages though, not that it matters. In a couple frames he was near the back so I assume that he's filled in over a hundred pages of his ideas all on the Amico and at that I forget why this is important for me to show. It's just proof that Tommy has a ton of ideas I guess. I can't say I'm the best at this but if we could bring in the guys working to uncover all the Paper Mario gimmicks from the trailer I'm sure we could get a few of these pages leaked. 🙂
  5. It would be AWESOME if we could get the old Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy games (and all the other series I can't remember off the top of my head) for the Amico!!! Unfortunately the only multiplayer action my memory recalls was asking my dad where to go or what to do (because when you can barely read and you're trying to complete a 30-40ish hour game, you'd need help too) while Tommy and the team really want all the games to have a playable multiplayer. I know that the Playstation and DS ports had the d-pad controls and made the games kinda 3D while the NES version was 2D but with a remake of some kind for the Amico would be amazing given how many directions the Amico d-pad can go. The controls are certainly possible for a 3D version but 2D wouldn't work too great with the nes square button ideas with only 4 movement directions. Sadly, I'm not feeling too confident that Square Enix would push for it though even they launched their recent FF7 remake for the PS4, but Tommy has been reaching out to a ton of different companies so we can at least hope for now... 😁
  6. That'd be 80 dollars CAD for us in Canada. Amico pricing for the win!
  7. Could it be Christopher Weaver, the founder of Bethesda and ZeniMax? 🤔
  8. To expand on the guessing game hints we have... Personal: - Male (likely biological) - A friend of Tommy - Retired for more than ten years (minimum) - Still a "young" guy - Has a brother (sounds our mystery man has one sibling only, unknown if older or younger) - Had an Intellivision and was inspired because of it - Works out of passion and not for money (but then again, he did retire already...) Game industry: - Started working in the 90s - Game industry legend (mic drop moment ~ Tommy) - Likely "created" a game industry product (successful if true) - Widely recognized for his work by hardcore gamers (quite possibly the non-hardcores too) Possibilities: By the next morning after speaking with his finance, he was all in and ready for the adventure! - Either highly successful and talks to a bank or something or - Does have a partner and but is not yet married ...and how he's been banging the same drum since the 90's! (i.e. bringing people together and reaching a wider audience) - Started a company or - Is/was a composer (music has been said to bring people together after all!) ...he was all in and ready for the adventure! Seeing as we are getting some Atari content and workers, maybe it - has to do with Adventure or - Tommy was just way too excited in letting us know and chose words at random Keep searching guys!!
  9. Hey Tommy, heard you once played in the Paper Mario series and since you speak so highly of the wii I can assume you've played Super Paper Mario before. Heh... ring any bells? (btw, why is this image cutting off the text?)
  10. Hey guys, I'm just as excited as the rest of you for the Amico and just thought I should join AtariAge because there isn't much activity on the subreddit... 🙄 (would be interesting if you guys tried to expand to Quora as well) Although I have been lurking around for about 80 pages of this I came to join the site to share this link because I think it could raise the popularity of the system. https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1256856981177987072 Let me know what you guys think, and keep it up the conversations! 😊
