  1. I will speak with @darryl1970 on how he would like to proceed on how and where to offer this as a digital rom later this year.
  2. There was a vendor in the play area selling some classic computer stuff. I did see some big box PC games. I know that those items are harder to sell versus the console games that sold more. I love seeing the obscure stuff and older computer and games represented though.
  3. I was there selling my homebrews, but not displayed. There are a decent amount of Atari stuff offered for 2600 and 7800. Not much 8 bit, ST, Jaguar. There was a vendor with a bunch of boxed Lynx games. Atari was represented in the Arcade and free play area.
  4. I was one of the first people to notice the pack in joystick issues. I have not done the above fix but want to mention that the unit is compatible with a wide variety of 3rd party controllers and works great. Is the product perfect? No, but looks to be an easy fix and hopefully they can update the controller built in to be more functional.
  5. Is there a link to the gorilla grit adhesive pads used in this video? Definitely an issue I am having with the controller.
  6. Dont feel bad, as I have many versions of the game available.
  7. In the title I mention the 7800 version and then show that in the video that I share :).
  8. Just wanted to give you a head up that Block'em Sock'em is being brought to the Atari VCS this Friday April 5th. At the time being, the YM soundtrack is not available(TIA only right now), but Atari is looking at that for the future. Even with the Tia soundtrack, this is an excellent version of the game and I am delighted that it can now be offered to those who have a VCS. Price will be $8.99 and wanted to share with you here first. Huge thanks to @darryl1970 for all the hard work he did with this version of the game.
  9. Here is a video I did on this amazing project. I am so happy I got one when I did.
  10. Agree that Atari is not known as much for its music, but there have been some great games that offer wonderful soundtracks with stock sound chips. With that being said, there are more options now with aftermarket support to make 7800 games with better sound epically with YM sound options. The Pokey soundtracks are also solid as well as many games offered on the 8 bit computer lineup. If anything, I think that the 8 bit computer line of games does not get enough recognition for music. Below is an example of what YM sound working on the 2600+ with the most current update.
  11. Honestly with using a PS4 controller, all my problems with control went away. With so many options to use modern controllers to replace the pack in controller, it is an easy fix.
  12. They have not posted their video yet :). I can say without a doubt that after playing Blue Max, there are some controller issues or at least with mine. Hopefully a firmware update can be used, and I did reach out to Retro Games.
  13. Nope, another creator has issues as well. Some of the same games too.
  14. Car version works, but the pack in controller has issue with control. Worth playing with another compatible controller until a patch is given. The other PAL games that you sent do not have enough memory. I tried the other two versions of Blue Max and they do not work for me(.cas and .xex files.
  15. I will try to run these later in the evening.
  16. Here is my review of the 400 Mini and did my best to cover it
  17. Here is my unboxing video of the press kit. My review of the unit will go up on Tuesday March 26th at 7:00AM PT when the embargo lifts.
  18. I will be reviewing the unit itself on Tuesday, but I am doing an unboxing video as well. I typically do all in one but this time I am doing them separately. I love talking and showing things Atari on my channel, simple as that.
  19. I am happy to announce that the first run of cart only copies of Block'em Sock'em are completed. These are going to be offered at the upcoming Sidequest Expo, Game On Expo, and possibly WA State Gaming Con if there are any left. With the latest update, this cart plays in the 2600+ and utilizes the Yamaha sound option. Afterward I plan on offering CIB copies when the manual and Box are completed for $50, but this cart only version will be $35. These are made with 3D printed carts and look great. Just a heads up that I will have a booth at these upcoming shows and anyone attending in person. I am not shipping these at this time.
  20. I might have another one to test this weekend, but buried with work until then.
  21. I tested as much as possible with the very little extra time I have. I tested two 7800 models, both modded. One was the one Crossbow did with the Kioparsec Bios, the other an older mod. Serial No 72R4BR and #AT8444835. I hear the audio and tested the carts but appears to have the screen issue with the video above. The controller function pause works. I tested this on a few different CRT TV sets. I tried to capture the footage and nothing appeared on the screen using a retrotink. I also tested the system with a standard 2600 cart and it worked fine. I have a previous S-video modded and AV modded 7800 that I have had as well. Serial Number 72R4BR and #A1 75 5814704. The 75 is a stamped with blue. Same thing as above I hear the audio and tested the carts but appears to have the screen issue with the video above. The controller function pause works. I tested this on a few different CRT TV sets. I tried to capture the footage and nothing appeared on the screen using a retrotink. I also tested the system with a standard 2600 cart and it worked fine.
