  1. Just wanted to ask here for the emulator the Atari VCS uses for games. Is there a YM sound option for those games that offer it? I am inquiring about the VCS emulator Atari uses in their storefront.
  2. Definitely will check this game out. Thank you for supporting the VCS and look forward to playing the demo when I have some free time.
  3. Bought this game and will show it in an upcoming video. I will share my score when I am able to have a good play session haha.
  4. I plan on doing a video soon, and will give a shoutout to this post. Thank you
  5. Looking great! Is there plans to offer rotary controller support?
  6. Are these still available? I bought one but happy to recommend this to others if they still can buy it.
  7. Being able to hookup a USB keyboard will address most of the issues mentioned here. While I agree that the 800xl is the best looking, I am totally fine with the 400 mini design choice as it will probably play the majority of games from the 8 bit computer line including aftermarket and homebrew releases.
  8. A question for experts, if a game is in a .atr file format, is there a way to convert it to run on an ultimate cart?
  9. Nice to see that the battery has a simple connection to the controller. Easy to replace if you can find a battery compatible.
  10. In this video, I give some 8-bit recommendations that are lesser known about. Thank you to the Atari 8-bit community for being great!
  11. Any love for Blue Max here? Who currently owns that title?
  12. I for one am excited that the 2600+ can play 7800 games utilizing YM sound. @darryl1970 has programmed a wonderful version of Blockem Sockem that I will try to get out before the end of the year.
  13. The demand for these more niche retro consoles outside of mainstream ones could be challenging for a large company like Atari to profit from. On a hobbyist level, it can be a huge undertaking and might stress out a small team with small production.
  14. I tested the 7800 version and the focus of my testing with homebrew and aftermarket games.
  15. The dumper is sensitive to what pcb the game is placed on. I know this from my own homebrew game in which a different pcb was used and it impacted game compatibility.
  16. Mine works and confirmed with the update.
  17. Bump this thread. Wanted to confim that the 2600 3D printed shells work with 7800 games. The link is below. Also, what screws are these shells using? Is there anyone selling these shells? https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1790785
