  1. That is a pretty salty take on the game if you ask me. You dont like it and you have that right to your opinion. Comparing this to Bubsy is extreme IMO.
  2. Any info on this would be most appreciated. Recently I did an short order of my my homebrew Game Panic 3. The game has been proven to work on the 2600+ using a different brand of PCBs. I had some made up using this PCB and while the game perfectly working on an original 2600...it is not working on the 2600+. Any idea of what it could be? link to the pcb boards in question and schematic. http://www.grandideastudio.com/pixels-past/
  3. I guess for me I have a different perspective of this game. Atari went with a different direction with this project and while I understand where the complaints are coming from, I just look at it differently. Not many 3D games on the VCS so it was nice to see this. I like the youthful take on a IP that is not relatively known about outside of Atari fans. Since this will be marketed outside the VCS eventually, I can see this doing okay. I am curious about all the unlockables, and will try to get some of those today. As a fan of Splatoon, I just like that Atari was trying something different here.
  4. Love seeing the collections, keep them coming. Nice to see people getting into collecting physical Atari releases again.
  5. I made this video for people looking for some cheap Atari carts for the 2600+. There are many more out there but the games I mention in the video are some of my favorites. I love seeing others collect for Atari and everyone have a great Christmas!
  6. For me personally, the fact that there was a late release port of Toki for the 7800 is a fascinating story. Due to the small library of the 7800, I believe that many fans of the console love to see any other games surface, as those are getting fewer to be known about. Hate to hear about one of kind games just sitting somewhere. Agree that the Lynx port is excellent.
  7. Good to hear that there is a new update for the console.
  8. I have a few remaining copies of my published homebrew games that I am happy to ship within the US. I accept paypal for payment. 9. I think there are more updates planned, so fingers crossed. Agree that more 8 bit and some ST games would be great.
  10. I think that a 7800 10-1 multicart(dipswitches) for those that might not be able to find 7800 games in their area. Cool to see if a homebrew or two could be offered on the multicart. Also might be helpful if the community could choose the games to offered on the cart from a list. If my name gets drawn, feel free to choose someone else for any of the prizes. Just wanted to give my imput.
  11. Can someone explain to differences between the Flashback Gold 12 and the 50th Anniversary Edition?
  12. My review video a few weeks back showed Artillery Duel single ender working as well. I think that there needs to be a formal process in which the community can test and report games working or not. There are many people reporting games working and I do not know how that information is collected. Thoughts?
  13. I would rather Atari just support that hardware that they have already, and I know that they have updates for the 2600+. As for the VCS, it has been all over the place with many new game releases, but a zip code error that is limiting how many people can purchase games. I would like to see them finally address the OS issue and have my fingers crossed that they can offer another year of support. I cant believe the VCS has survived for 3 years but here we are.
  14. Thanks for the update. Looking good!
  15. I am aware of this, as I am a publisher :). Even so, I was able to know ahead of time a release window. If anything, knowing that many of these titles get little or no attention until launch it would help publishers get some attention on their game.
  16. After many requests, I have decided to offer my entire published game library on itch.io. You can find my page here https://swlovinist.itch.io/
  17. Just want to thank you for all of your contributions you have done to the gaming community. Most appreciated.
  18. The last 6 months have have been a steady flow of games and homebrews on the Atari VCS. It is nice to see that. One thing that I would like to see implemented is some future release date windows announced. I know that these things can often change, but it would nice to see what is coming in the next few months rather than just being surprised the same day. I know that Lunar Lander Beyond is coming, but what else is planned for December?
  19. Cool that we are getting some FREE updates to an already excellent complication. I hope we can see some more computer games added in a future update.
