  1. Received the 8 games today... good packaging, nice quality, but they are definitely smaller than I expected them to be! Unique for sure. Here is a picture for scale
  2. Hey Tommy, I ordered the 8 pack, can't wait (order 1041)! Any news on the Archon remake? It is the game I most want!!! My friends, brother, and I played so many hours on that game back in the 80s. Thanks for any news!
  3. Nice Job Tommy, can't wait for the Amico in October so I can play with the kids! Any updates on Archon? My brother and I had so much fun with that game when we were young. The banshee was one of my favorite pieces.
  4. Excellent Astrosmash video Tommy. Looking forward to playing it with the wife and kids, especially the pyramid level!
  5. One of my favorite pieces of video game art, when it is my turn to put the kids to bed, I tell a pirate story that the kids act out and they can't get enough. They love the Secret of Monkey Island. I wonder if there would be a way to make a Monkey Island type game that would be multiplayer and have something like that on the Amico?
  6. Wow, why are people so invested in this? I am excited for Amico and check the forum every couple days to see if there are updates, but some folks seem so infatuated with this! An idea for a distraction, just signed up for Deezer, a music streaming service that was recommended by one of my brothers, perhaps check that out.
  7. Another game idea, since Intellivision is doing Evel Knievel, maybe a named Skateboard game would be in order. Everyone knows Tony Hawk games, but maybe do a lesser known 'famous' skateboarder. For example, bought this skateboard years ago for my son's room, and just pulled it out of the box to finally get it up on one of his walls. Christian Hosoi was well known years ago like Lance Mountain. If curious my son is 3 🙂
  8. It would be crazy to move the presentation after so much communication / hype over it.
  9. I received an Intellivision hat from the online store yesterday. Nice!
  10. I think here is the formula for success! Several parts D&D modules, 1 part Superman, 1 part Dragon Warrior. Let's make it so, Engage!
  11. In one of the last linked videos, someone brought up a desire for a D&D dice game on the Amico. I personally would love that, as each person could control their own character and roll the dice with their own controller. Now a D&D campaign or module takes more than a 15 minute session, however you could do little quests or some character leveling in short amounts of time and save the real questing for longer sessions. That sounds so fun to me, and if Intellivision were able to secure the D&D license for Cloudy Mountain, perhaps they could secure a license for an actual campaign/module/series. That could be an awesome couch coop experience!
  12. Tearing your ACL has a whole new meaning when related to Cornhole. Congrats on the announcement! Can't wait for more official news.
  13. Dakota County, Minnesota is open for business. You can use my basement, work room, and I have great bandwidth 🙂
  14. Hey, I emailed KevinS and he responded that entry to the sweepstakes ended 30 days ago, so my purchase of merchandise last week was too late. No worries, maybe those of us who purchased items later on can be included in another drawing down the road. Anyways, really enjoyed the Cloudy Mountain video, can't wait to play it. Thanks for all the updates!
  15. I bought some merchandise on the Intellivision website last week, but haven't received anything yet. Am I too late for this sweepstakes?
  16. Retro game idea, was watching some clips from the original 70's Land of the Lost TV show. Could make for a fun retro platform game if the rights secured. Kids like dinosaurs, and older players from that time would have the nostalgia. Just the Sleestak sound effects would get my $10.
  17. Cloudy Mountain Biplanes Baseball Archon Bomb Squad Evel Knievel Missile Command
  18. I couldn't resist after reading the last few posts, we have our next Amico game, Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Hole.
  19. Thanks for the response Tommy, and am very excited about the Amico. I first heard about it around 3 weeks ago or so... was Google searching for 'simple video games' or 'video games for young kids', something along those lines, and at some point in that searching something about the Amico bubbled up, otherwise I wouldn't have known about it. Since that time I've watched several videos on Youtube regarding the Amico and have preordered the wood version on fig.co. Can't wait to play it with my kids ages 6, 3, 3, and wife! Currently my kids and wife only play games on their iPads, but that will change with the Amico when we can all play together.
  20. Hi All, I am new to the forums here, and am very excited about the Amico system. Tommy mentioned AtariAge in one of his interviews so came out here to check it out. Back in the day I had an Atari 2600 and then the family moved onto the Commodore Vic20 one Christmas. What a fun system that was! The last system I really played in depth was the Neo Geo and had lots of carts for it but sold it all when it was time to furnish my own house. Anyways, I have young kids now and am so looking forward to gaming with them on the sofa. The older more simplistic games are what I enjoy and know my kids will love playing them, especially with Daddy and Mommy. Some of my favorite games from the past: Archon Montezuma’s Revenge Gorf The Scott Adams’ word games like Voodoo Castle Radar Rat Race Pitfall Missile Command Champions of Krynn (SSI on the PC) Metal Slug 3 (Neo Geo) Magical Drop III (Neo Geo)
