NICKELODEON back in the early days before SPONGEBOB and co,,  i would watch the VIDEO COMICS,,  PINWHEEL,,  and the NICKEL FLICKS..  they also had a mime during the breaks before commercials!!!!  Hard to believe this quaint little network evolved into a phenomenon..

NICKELODEON when they had the silver ball..  YOU CAN'T DO THAT ON TELEVISION was hilarious,,  PINWHEEL was cute,,  and i watched other shows like LIVEWIRE..  the silver ball song is nostalgic..

METROMEDIA TELEVISION channel 5 of the Seventies..  the funky theme music reminded me of SCOOBY DOO when the gang was at the malt shop..

WWOR of the old days..  my favorite block was 9 ALL NIGHT with the lovely intro..  made me cry because i wanted a boyfriend..  now I know LOVE STINKS,,  AND I WILL FOREVER BE SINGLE..

Viacom's PINBALL logo..  this one initially creeped me out once i conflated PINBALL with SCARY B&W VIDEO GAMES..  but once games were in color the fear went away..  sounds like elevator music too..

VIACOM's V OF DOOM of the Seventies and Eighties..  i used to laugh at this so much because the v zooming reminded me of the WILE E COYOTE cartoons with the train coming out of the tunnel,,  combined with the MUSIC..  I loved the shows it was on too..

WNEW in new york..  as i am a brooklynite,,  i watched it often..  FLINTSTONES,,  BATTLE OF THE PLANETS,,  BATMAN (with adam west),,  always wanted to be like princess or batgirl so i could fight back when i got bullied..  and reruns of old viacom shows with their funny logo at the end..  hated the weiss global logo before and after MAKE ROOM FOR DADDY though,,  loved the show but the logo was eerie!!!!  After new wave happened i got used to it..

This was the SECOND LOGO my chuck e cheese had,,,  around '84 or 5..  loved playing PUNCHOUT and HANG ON..  still hated the pizza..  occasionally i'd dance with the guy in the chuck e cheese costume and watch the animatronic shows..  but i mostly liked the games..

Classic logo from the Seventies,,, watched sesame street and mr rogers here.. the noise at the beginning creeped me out a bit until i played donkey kong.. then it sounded like the lose a life jingle haha.. i also watched some PBS programs for adults like nature..
