I almost ended up putting my FB 2 in a 2600 Jr case. The 2600 Jr was broken at the time. Fortunately, I saved all the original insides, as it later mysteriously started working again (and I'm fairly sure I never replaced any components on it).

My roommate, who is in France right now, wants me to wait until he moves back in on the 15th to go see it with him. I managed to hold out past opening weekend, but I'm still not confident I can wait another 11 days. I did tell him that if I went to see it I wouldn't say anything about it until after I saw it with him for the second time, haha.

I like using emulators on handhelds and mobile devices, but at home I'll always prefer to use the actual consoles.

Sonic Adventure's worth about $15 or $20 now, if I remember correctly, so you didn't make out too badly.

I paid $20 for my Master System bundle from a pawn shop a few years ago. Had the base unit, two gamepads, mini arcade stick type controller, light gun, and 10 games (almost all of which were boxed).

So I have to keep my PVM around for now, since it's the only thing that produces a good-looking stable image from my Mega STE.

I wish I could afford a Framemeister. I tried a couple of cheaper video converters recently on my Mega STE, and one is fast but looks awful (GBS-8200), and the other looks good on static images, but has lag, ruins field-level flicker effects, and tends to leave trails behind moving objects (CVID SCART to HDMI).

Man, I'd love to get a 19"/20" PVM. I'm stuck with a 13"/14" for now, though, since that's the only one I've ever found close enough to pick up.

UEFI isn't actually that bad if you have a version that lets you disable SecureBoot. If not, then you have to mess around with keys and whatnot if you want to install an OS that your computer didn't come with.

Funny thing is, one of my friends was trying to teach me how to beatbox one time and said I should start by saying 'boots and cats'. So whenever I see that Geico commercial, that's what I think of.

D&B has been alright when I've been to it. The nearest one is a bit too much of a drive for me to go more than say twice a year at the moment, though.

I can never keep up with my VMU batteries. Seems like every time I replace them, they run down before I want to do anything with my VMUs again.

Yeah, I hate it when sellers do that.

That's kind of what he did with his first one, but he's got a nice new connector PCB between the Jag board and the Jag CD board that lets them sit much closer together in this one. The other PCB I got set up for him was the Link-Box, but it needs a second revision before it's perfect.

I'm actually pretty sure he made the case himself. I did the PCB designs for him, which he gives me credit for at the end of his video, but I honestly do think he did the case himself.

Yeah, that's true. I signed up for a Google+ account as soon as I heard about it, and started using it regularly once I had more than three friends on it, but I can see how someone being forced to sign up for a service like Google+ that they're not interested in would change their opinion from neutral to negative pretty quickly.

Yeah... I actually like Google+, it's just that I don't want my personal profile linked to my YouTube account in any way.

I don't like DuckDuckGo. Last time I tried it, it didn't give me very good search results.
