  1. I believe there are a few really good jaguar emu for the ps3.
  2. I actually won a boxed nomad several years back on ebay, but the seller never sent it and then vanished once I tried to get ahold of him. To this day, my only bad experience with ebay.
  3. I still loved the n64 back in the day, but I honestly spent more time with the other consoles of that era; mostly psx and the sega saturn. I initially bought an n64 from best buy as a open box value, kept and played the hell out of it for about a month, and then foolishly sold it to my friend. I still played some of the best titles for it, but prolly missed out on some other greats as well.
  4. I would be interested in either a white or clear one.
  5. I do have one. Can ship asap.
  6. I have zelda for both the wii and the gamecube, played the wii one for about 5 hours, got frustrated and haven't played since. And while the overall reviews are mixed, I actually enjoyed the sonic and the secret rings game. And about the impending release of nights for the wii: I was a fan of the game for saturn, but in all honesty, the way things have been going for sega, it will probably be a disapointment.
  7. The jag, much like any unsuccessful console, had so much untapped potential.
  8. I always liked the overall cosmetic difference of the superfamicom to the north american snes; dunno why, its sexier.
  9. if you're into imports at all: mod it and then buy sin and punishment; costly, yes, but well worth it. It was made by treasure.
  10. I've had mine since december and honestly play it more than my 360. Games I recommend: elebits trauma center excite truck wario ware wiiplay metal slug anthology super paper mario there's more that I can't think of right now.
  11. I have Three gamecubes right now and a wii: one is a black one modded with a purple l.e.d., one is a silver cube that I bought from ebay listed as defective that not only ended up being a simple fix but was still covered under a warranty, and then I have another silver older non hd port cube modded with a viper chip. I plan on modding my wii with a wiikey once the warranty expires. And initially, I did have problems with my black cube when I bought it used back in 2003, but once I replaced the laser with a new one from www.xboxrepairguide.com, it has been working perfectly since.
  12. Thanks for the links, ovalbugmann. Guess I should have goggled before asking.
  13. Nope, Protector and Protector:SE are standard cartridge games. The chip itself is a standard EPROM or Flash memory, you should be able to buy it in a (good) electronics store. But you also need access to a programmer to "burn" the BJL ROM image into the chip. You should create a topic about it in the Hardware forum, someone may be willing to do it for you. yeah, I made a thread as you suggested, but no one seems to be willing to help.
  14. I just modded my jaguar with a standard 5mm blue l.e.d. Now, I'm gonna paint it. Can't decide on a color, though.
  15. I want to BJL mod my jaguar, can get the blank chip itself but don't have the means to burn the bjl program to it; is anyone willing to burn the program to the chip and then sell it to me? I also wanted to burn the program for the colecovision that elimates the 5 second delay.
  16. Put me down for a copy, as I've never played either of the protector games. Do I need to have my jag modded with a bjl chip to play them? because I have been trying to locate a chip to do so, and haven't been able to; anyone have some one they can sell me?
  17. I've always wanted to do that to my coleco; but to be honest, I lost interest in the console after playing most of the arcade exclusive titles for it on a mame emulator. I might even sell my coleco in the future.
  18. I looked for it on sega-16.com but I couldn't locate it. http://www.sega-16.com/Hacks%20Homebrews-%...rio%20World.htm Must not have looked hard enough Its at the bottom of the page.
  19. too short? you must not have ever played through the other two games which could be finished in half the time... that ice level had more stuff to do than any of the other games... the ability to switch vehicles in the levels adds depth and stradegy.. which is mimiced in the multiplayer which was better than the 64 version by far as it actually adds some stradegy unlike the 64 version which concentrated on ignoring fox, looking for weapons and enemies on radar... and keep doing loops hoping you dont get hit as must as the other person from random shots that arent blocked by the g-defuser. As far as Adventures goes, yea it was longer to your liking.. starfox is one of my, if not my favorite nintendo chacacter.. and while hte graphics were amazing, and the gameplay seemed intacted, there simply was something missing. Sometimes the game didnt seem to really push you into the next part, other times the gameplay started to get reduntant talking to mamoths and solving weird puzzles.... it just didnt feel like starfox either ... if anything you think they could do the in arwing levels correctly, but again.. these were laughable, boring and simple. While i dont like this for a starfox game, i also just didnt like this as a platformer... it could have been labeled Donkey Kong 64 2 with character swaps , and i still would have been disappointed... I stand by my opinion; it was so short that my younger brother was able to finish the game a couple days after renting it from blockbuster. And yes, we both played the game all the way through.
  20. The cube that I bought back in 2003, used, has outlived my ps2 and my first xbox. And Ninty has some of the best customer service, with micro and sony having the worst, imo.
  21. right now, the ds. It simply has better games at the moment and is cheaper. Since I've heard that many stores will no longer be carrying the umd movies, I kinda don't see the point in paying that much for one.
