  1. Good one there. Kinda reminds me how there was a problem with the subtitles with the DVD version of Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence, and there was a marker on the cases to indicate a version that had the problem fixed (I forget what it was, though... can anyone there help me?). One more thing to add about my dossier on the AO rating: all but one of the games rated AO (the one with the simulated gambiling descriptor) were slapped with a "strong sexual content" descriptor. Notice a theme there?
  2. Counting GTASA, that makes 19 AO titles. There are "uncut and uncensored" versions of Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude and Singles available for download here, one got the rating for extremely graphic violence, another for simulated gambiling and everything else got the rating for pornographic reasons... Source EDIT: I just noticed that as of 10:45 PM, GTASA is on the source list.
  3. Well... it looks like San Andreas will be slapped with an AO rating, and Rockstar is looking to disable the content. http://www.gamedaily.com/playstation2/arti...d=&source=00001
  4. Don't worry, Steam is unaffected by this deal...
  5. If Doom 3 can run on the Xbox, so can Half-Life 2.
  6. Next-gen zombie action for the PS3 and Xbox 360! (if you're counting, that's three zombie action games for the 360: RE5, Dead Rising- also a Capcom title- and Posession. I'd add House of the Dead 4 to the list, but nothing's confirmed for that one outside of the arcade version.) http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/635/635096p1.html http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/635/635114p1.html http://www.jeux-france.com/news11319_resid...-5-annonce.html
  7. I also would have liked Splatterhouse to be on the collection, but considering how finicky the ESRB is, I don't blame Namco for leaving it off...
  8. I should add one thing to the discussion. Pretty much the only modern game I'm playing right now is Forza Motorsport. Everything else in my Xbox collection is either arcade ports or classic compilations (Soul Calibur II, Street Fighter Anniversary Collection, House of the Dead III, Midway Arcade Treasures 1 and 2, Atari Anthology, Namco Museum, SVC Chaos, CVS 2, Guilty Gear X2 Reload)
  9. You must have read the recent GameSpot Rumor Control, right?
  10. Well, they never RELEASED an AO version, so they clearly weren't TOO strongly attached to the idea. 894036[/snapback] Well, in that case, were they too stoopid to take it out? I've seen the video of this in action, and trust me, Custer's Revenge looks more erotic, imho.
  11. Even though I might buy this for Rolling Thunder, I too am dissapointed in Namco's constant recycling. Where's Baraduke? Wonder Momo? Valkyrie No Desnetsu? Heck, there's going to be space left over, so where's Ridge Racer, Cyber Sled, Starblade, Tekken 1, etc... ?
  12. I figured that this thread belongs in the classic gaming general forum. Mods, move this thread if you so desire. Considering that this is an old-school Atari forum I'd expect the answer to be "well, duh!", but this Slashdot article is a good read: http://ask.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=05/...153256&from=rss
  13. I guess I should mention this: GamePolitics.com is a good clearinghouse for Hot Coffee info... go read it.
  14. I'd just like to add that the US version of Namco Museum PSP will have even more games: expect to see King And Baloon, Dig Dug 2, Dragon Buster, Tower of Druaga, Bosconian, Rolling Thunder, Motos, Xevious and Mappy. That's more than 20 games total.
  15. My gamertag is ferrarimanf355. I'll be playing Forza Motorsport.
  16. Sigh... this was the last place I expected Hot Coffee discussion...
