  1. Not sure if it’s way too late, but I’d love Castle/Beyond Castle Wolfenstein. Even a copy of the floppy would be great. Would pay whatever made sense. Looks like an awesome collection. Sorry I’m so late to the party.
  2. Anyone out there know of someone who knows how to fix vintage Epson printers? I have an LX-86, and all it will do is power up. I can't self test or select anything else. Thanks in advance.
  3. Makes sense, I appreciate the explanation. I don't know how to download or write to blank disks. I use the legacy system exactly as I did back in 1983...most of it still works great. So I'm missing out on that capability.
  4. Copy, thanks...that's beyond my abilities. I'll keep digging to see if someone has the ability, and I can pay to fix them and I'll send them out.
  5. Thanks for the reply...I appreciate it, and should have given the info up front: I'm running an Atari 800XL with 1050 drives. I have 2 drives that both work and i can load all of meh other floppies. So everything appears good on that front. I've had them for a long time and they worked, but it has been so many years that I can't count since I last tried them. Castle Wolfenstein starts to load correctly for about 5 seconds, then settles into the slow 'beep' and boot error. Beyond CW does a little better and sounds like a normal boot for about 10 seconds, then it get stuck. I hear the head moving and I'll hear it boot a little, then eventually just stops and the drive goes quiet...no constant boot error like CW. Tried both with and without DOS (option held) just to check. If I open the disk directories in DOS, they both look normal. Any thoughts? What else can I provide? I don't even know if disk repair is possible, but I'd pay for the service if its out there. Thanks
  6. Rookie question I'm sure...but is there a pro out there that knows how to repair 5.25" floppy disks? I have original Castle W, and Beyond Castle W floppies...neither work. Thanks in advance.
  7. Random question...is there anyone out there who knows how to repair floppy disks? I have original Castle/Beyond Castle W but the disks won't load. Curious if that capabilty exists in the world!
  8. Rookie question I'm sure...but I have original Castle W, and Beyond Castle W floppies...neither work. Is there a pro out there that knows how to diagnorse and repair? Thanks in advance.
  9. I spoke to him today...great dude. He has a full plate right now, but I will follow up soon and he's going to try to find it. He knows it existed and he used to have it. Hopefully he can find it. Will report back.
  10. I tried every single driver on the PrintShop disk...nothing worked for the Okimate. But I did just email Bruce...will let you all know what i hear. Thanks
  11. Thanks for all the feedback...I'll email Bruce. I found this on the webs during a search: Any thoughts ads to where these drivers would exist? Print Shop Drivers Owners of the 8-bit version of Print Shop from Broderbund Software might want to check out a series of new printer drivers from Innovative Concepts. 12. I'm running an 800XL and 1050 setup. Works great. I have Print Shop but can't get it to work with my Okimate 10 printer. It's not an option for the print setup feature. The disk is good and works well with my Epson. Any ideas how to get the Oki to work with Print Shop?
