  1. Lol. I'm 29 now, & when this article was published I was 8.
  2. Honestly, I don't understand why Atari kept on buying so many companies recently in the first place.
  3. I would love something like the Collectorvision Phoenix that is an HDMI Colecovision w/ the SGM built in, but actually has mass availability & doesn't have problems w/ a lot of TVs like the Collectorvision does. I bought a ROM of Donkey Kong for the SGM & was later sent an actual cart of it that I can't use, since I don't actually have a Colecovision & an SGM...
  4. Wait, so if the Supercharger wasn't tested, why were Supercharger games listed as passed on the list?
  5. Also, I guess the SD card port is good for games people sell as homebrew ROMs too, but, still.
  6. Well, it also has going for it the 7800 compatibility. TBH, I'd take that over the Retron 77's SD card support, which, let's face it, is only good for 2 things: piracy, (which is why Atari was never going to support it,) & updating the firmware, which I think they said can be done via USB on the 2600+ anyways. Plus, it comes with 10 games, which the Retron 77 obviously doesn't. And if you want to get a collection of hundreds of games, just go with the 50th anniversary collection, but you won't get a cartridge port which allows for something the collection doesn't have: playing games that aren't based on Atari-owned IP. I don't know, that's just the way I see it.
  7. Trust me, I'm no TT fan after everything that happened.
  8. Dude, TT had the most support on this site than anywhere else on the internet lol. (Well, at least among users who weren't banned.)
  9. I mean, there were Sega Genesis Flashbacks that were crap, & then there were the 2 Genesis Minis that were actually good. 'Course, the only difference is Sega stopped doing the former, while I think Atari still works with AtGames...
  10. A system that played carts & discs from all of Atari's consoles out of the box & offered some of the games as downloads would be nice... But it would probably cost too much...
  11. Just get the Atari 50th anniversary collection for the real consoles. It has games from more Atari platforms than anything else Atari's put out. This thing doesn't even have the aesthetic advantage the Flashback has of actually looking like a 2600...
  12. Why does Atari think anyone is even gonna give a shit enough to buy these? They should just focus on games.
  13. Also, in the latest issue of Retro Gamer, they specifically said that the collection has games from seven platforms, and going by the video, it's: 1. 2600. 2. 5200. 3. 7800. 4. Jaguar. 5. Lynx. 6. 800XL. 7. ST.
  14. According to this video, Asteroids Deluxe for the Atari ST is in the collection, so I don't know what you're talking about: https://youtube.com/watch?v=WMSzSV-GVnE
  15. I knew someone was gonna do this after the Amico failed just like the Collectorvision came out after the Chameleon failed.
  16. I remember first hearing the terms, "hardcore," and, "casual," all over the place after the Wii came out. "Casuals," played Wii, while, "hardcores," played Xbox 360...
  17. https://youtube.com/watch?v=8NZWyW68Pxg So, as you can see in this video, it is possible to use the Hyperkin 3-in-1 adapter to boot Game Gear games on the Genesis, albeit with inverted colors. In the comments section, though, they discuss an issue bigger than the inverted colors. Namely, not being able to press start. Is there any way to use this adapter to actually play a Game Gear game on a Genesis, with or without inverted colors? Thanks, MASTER260.
  18. So with those games and new copies of the SGM1 delayed, is there a new ETA for when the SGM2 and the Super Game Controller are coming out?
