Played one game for a score of 103,628 and got to the 6th course. Not sure if I'll get a chance to play any more this week.
The bump n jump trick were if you do not wreck any cars thru any single track, you will get 50,000 bonus points at the end of that track does work on the CV version.
Harder than it sounds to pull it off. -

Looks like first place might be up for grabs from duncantoml this week.By the way, this is week 9.

Just got a chance to try this.
The start up sound is, well like finger nails on a chalk board.
Does the score top out at 99, roll, or go to triple digits?
So far I got 84 flies, but that made me wonder.
Looks very promising! In fact, please up me on the list for a cart of the game.

Is there any strategy to avoid the missile from the ZAXXON-boss?Well, the idea is to blow it up while it's still in Zaxxon. All you have to do is go 2 1/2 bricks/bars up from the bottom and go to the far right screen. Then as he appears and moves forward, stay at the 2 1/2 bars, but move to the left as your fire. At some point you will hit it and the color will change showing a hit. Then stop there and fire away. Several hits later you will blow it up in Zaxxon and have a 5000 point bonus.
If he lanches the missile, then stay put and fire as fast as you can. The missile will line itself up with you. If you move you will only make your shots miss most of the time. It takes 3 or 5 hits to blow it up.

One of my favorite A8 games is Monex. Now that would be cool for the 2600! Not enough puzzle type games that can keep my interest, but this ones hard to put down.

Very Nice Bob!!!!
This was the first item in my cart for the Christmas buys and can't wait to get it!
Any idea on the completion for the 5200 version? That will be a must!

Is this project dead? The project is not dead. I published a first video about the progress of this project on Youtube, almost at the same time you write your question. And I reccently published a second video named "overview" that show you the basic concept behind the final hardware and software version, including the games and bonus.
Looks Great Daniel!
Any release date?

Got a few games in and ended with 242,900

I have no problem with someone who actually has the game and decides to sell it later. The instant flipping thing is BS. Thanks for clearing it up CPUWIZ.I agree.

Didn't take long for one of these to hit Ebay.

Ran it up to 10,012,200
Doesn't beat my personal best, but it will have to do. I got bored with it, so I ended the game.

#2 has me a bit perplexed, though. What do you mean? I did notice that in the original there are always at least two beams to climb; my version sometimes will just have one. This will be changed, though, I haven't gotten to it yet. Is that what you meant or is there something more...?Bob,
I'll use the picture you have in your first post as a example. The top 2 levels have the 2 beams on both on the left side. In the CV version the beams are mirrored. So if there is a beam on the far right, then there is a beam on the far left. Second from the left then there is also one second from the right.
I do like the change!
ALso, the CV version does have levels that have only one beam to climb and it is always in the middle(second picture, bottom level). Can't remember if the 800 version does or not. Have not play that one for some time.
I think the one beam on some levels should be lefted.
Just now noticed that your version has 6 places that up beams can be placed, the CV has 5. again, not sure about the 800.

Pretty good Bob!
I see that you have a few things different in your version.
1) the falling object is not always over the climber.
2) You have moved the beam lay out. This is interesting and seems to be a nice chnage.
3) The bag of money can knock you off, if you clmb up under it. In the other versions, the bag is betweem the beams, so you can't get kill by it.
All in all this is going to be a good one. Always like this game!

Had a little extra time today. Stopped at 4,004,700
I'll try and get another game in when I have more time.

It's more strategic than meets the eye- it's not just gobbling dots. This game is all Patience and Timing. The bugs are very controllable.
It helps to get multi veggies from each sceen. This really adds up when you get to the bigger point veggies. Also getting your words spelled is very important.
Once you get to the screen that has the 4 different shape/color bugs, it never gets harder.

I'm still trying to figure out how you get pictures while you're still playing on a game without a pause key.

I don't take them during play. I video tape my game, so the pictures are from those tapes. This is the best way to get a picture to post.

That's great news on both games. I can't wait!
I'll be watching for the reservation list for Pac-Man Collection. Got to have one of the Yellow ones!

Here's a picture of the No Car Bonus. Did you crash your car during the lap? On this screen shot I did not. I'm thinking that you are not allowed to crash your car either.
I don't think I've ever played the Intellivision version, but the CV version has got to be better!
