  1. It's more strategic than meets the eye- it's not just gobbling dots.

This game is all Patience and Timing. The bugs are very controllable.

It helps to get multi veggies from each sceen. This really adds up when you get to the bigger point veggies. Also getting your words spelled is very important.

Once you get to the screen that has the 4 different shape/color bugs, it never gets harder. ;-)

  2. Ugggghhhh... I just discovered my CV is screwed up. I always leave the Roller Controller hooked up and usually plug a super action stick into that. Defender won't allow that though. It has to be controller right into the CV. I did this only to discover that my CV registers the joystick held in the down position automatically. I tried various controllers and it's all the same. It doesn't happen when I use a stick through the roller. I never play CV Defender since I got Midway Arcade Treasures a while ago so I didn't know this was a problem until last night. I guess I'm playing this one emulated to compete this week.

I have the same set up.

When I use the super action controller, it uses a bomb with each pull of the trigger untill they are gone, then it will fire. But if I use a standard controller, it works fine going thru the Roller controller.

If I remove the Roller Controller, I also have problems.

  3. Good luck with whatever you will fill your time in with.

Hope to see you in the forums from time to time, and that 7800 project gets to see the light of day some time

Funny you should mention this (2 months ago :ponder: ) as I sat staring at my 7800 collection the other night I suddenly found inspiration to finish the project so I am starting work up again on the 7800 Project (sorry it's not a homebrew I wish I had that kind of talent)

and beleive it or not I was also inspired for a new 2600 hack but that will have to wait till after the holidays. It felt good to take a step back for awhile but I am getting that itch again. Here is a clue on the 2600 hack: BOOOOOOOOOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

What a Great movie! Those flying balls were classic and Angus Scrimm gave his best performance as the Tall man.

I'm looking forward to this one! :)

  4. Wario Ware Twisted!

Nothing stopping oyu from shaking the 'Cube like a (noun).

There's a difference between absurdly awkward and incompatible.

If you read the Wario Ware Twisted box it does say "not compatible with the game boy player accessory". It has nothing to do with being "awkward", as that would be a no brainer and wasn't in question.
