    Hi Everyone.

     

     

    Just a short story about users/postages.

     

     

    ONE CUSTOMER ordered 2 floppy emulators from me at 28.02.2013

     

    I post items few days later.

     

    3 weeks later customers writes mail - NO PARCEL RECEIVED.

     

    So, I made claim at post office and POSTED AGAIN

     

    2 weeks later he received second parcel and I got confirmation for USA POST that first parcel was also delivered.

     

     

     

    conclusion :

     

    I DO NOT TAKE ANY RESPOSNIBILITY for chepeast postage You choose at my shop, Please choose SAFE and EXPRESS POSTAGE to USA/CANADA.

     

     

    Also, I`d like to inform that this guy is one of forum collegues, what makes more sad...

    mail me to [email protected] - i visit forum VERY SELDOM -- this visit was because one of our collegues reported me there is problem in this topic

     

     

    You say NO PARCEL reaches You ? whoaa, i think there is problem with Your paypal account setting, as all parcels were posted paypal confirmed address.

    • I use POLISH MAIL (Poczta Polska) as a default shipping service. Anyway, it is cheapest option - no insurance, no guarantee tracking number will work at Your country`s post office www.

    Lunar7 - i do not think the atari forum is the right place to ask about tracking/contact me

     

    besides -- 28.03 postages - it means ONLY 5 business days have passed...delivery to canada takes from 7 till 15 from experience. ( BUSINEES it means frommonday till friday)

     

    You have 3 options considering driver :

     

    - hddriver

    - Pera putnik

    - icd ( but second card fat16 limited to 32mb ) - free one

    when one uses few devices in chain with st, every device must have uniqhe scsi number ( remember - SD CARD SLOT is diffrent device, so each ustana supplies to ATARI two unique scsi numbers).

     

    please, use that software to change ustana dev number.

    i have just tried that with 2 usatans in chain with 3 sd cards ;-)

     

    OfficlaNninja - please send cable for replacent/repair or...much quciker will be if You check insight of connector - problem is 100% there

     

    PS. cable i supply - the idea was to have this cable stiffer, but i think the producer overdid with stiffness.

    NO - i had to rework smal minor mistake in cased usatans with vxx power supply from usb

     

    anyway, internal version available at my www ;-0

    just for You info...

     

     

    free icd driver - i started ST with usatan - 2gb card.

     

    then i put in secodn slot FAT16 128 mb card...

     

    restarted ST

     

    and guess what ???

     

     

     

    SECOND CARD was visibile in tos -- You can swap data between ST and PC...

     

    interesting...

    I have also purchasd hddriver from UWE . I needed for tests and my personal use. I`m very happy with support, help and product.

     

    geee, he develops it for 20and sth years now - how old is he ?? <joke>

     

    Also, i have converstation with Pera Putnik recently- he will introduce soon his ultrasatan friendly solution, so the final customer will have option to choose between.

    hmmm... as far i remebr there is software for xhc that will allow You to create HARD DISK PARTITION on SD CARD in SD EMUL.

     

    so, it is seen in system as floppy with capacity of hard drive...

     

    visit hxc forum - there is sth mentioned and developed

    ps. hard drive with the speeed of floppy...

    Hi,

     

    card is prepared to work with all st/ste starting from tos 1.02.

     

    best way to copy stuff is :

     

    - buy hdd driver

    - one sd card make as bootable and 4 partitions 256 mb ( or 8 *256mb) - 2 gb card

    - second sd card ( best 128/ 64 mb) format with fat16 in PC -- with newest hddriver usatan will recognize 128mb card and swapping data with pc is awesome !

     

    ps. maybe there are other options, anyway i use thta

     

    ps. HDDRIVER 8.45 IS NOT SUPPORTING USTANA CORRECTLY. Contact Uwe for 8.46 ! i did use 8.45 and was killling myself for hardware bug, but at the end it appeared that hdd driver was making problem... one month of delay with deliveries . I hope all is happy ;-) anyway

     

    ps. DO NOT FORMAT SD CARD -- not needed ! only partitioning !
