    As You probably know, i decided to produce moulding form for ATARI SIO PLUGS and idea just came to live

     

    Next step, is introducing two new devices BUILT INSIDE SIO PLUG :

     

    - sio2sd - econo version - for micro sd card

    - sio2pc - USB version

     

    i predict prices for both device around 20 E. I hope to publish some more news soon. anyway, stay tuned and check www.lotharek.pl sometimes ;-)

    Of course, this cable is fully compatible with USATAN device designed by Jookie. I wanted to keep original pinout. but I really dislike idea of butchering db25 plugs... so decided go step further and order custom made cables - especially for usatan. i just like to see my devices high quality ..

     

    of course all those small gizmos makeprice a bit higher, but my opinion is to better spend ONCE but FOR GOOD product, instead 2-3 times for sth You will never be happy with..

    PCB is universal, but :

     

    - for internal version power connector from floppy is used (5V)

    - extrnal will be in case and will need You mobile phone charger ( also 5V)

     

    why this solution ?

     

    i`m unable to delivery power supplies around the world - You know - diffrenct plugs, 230 or 110 V ...etc etc. and usb charger i think everybody has home already.

    Hello

     

    geee...i do not know why.. over 200 mails were sent. almost 60 units preordered.

     

    BUT DO NOT WORRY - i`m about to produce approx 200 - 150 external/50 internal.so it will be available without problem, but FIRST units in LOWER prices will be sent to customers, that helped me with their orders ( and i`m talking about almost 3000E i had to spend for parts, pcbs, others shit demanded by EU ..).

    So, beta testers have received primary batch of units - so far i can say. redesigned devices `s baheviour is the same what orginals. I have some troubles with newest hddriver - but thanks to Uwe, i have discovered that 8.23 doesn`t make any problems.
