I did some testing "light" to see if it works or not. With the CC2 I could not get it to use the XBoard at all. But after removing the CC2 Pokey it played fine on the XBoard. It seems even though I am using the 7800_32K bank file the CC" pokey is still mapped into the 7800 memory space. It also seems I played a bit to much with my last remaining XBoard so now it is not working any more. Aaa well, back to work /P

No, actually Steven Tucker of Atarimax. /P
-
The XBoard should be available from Atarimax by now. I handed over the design to Steve some months ago so send him an email if you're interested. And if you need more information about the XBoard check out my website www.x-game.se. /P

Besides, their site actually shows 3.5.2 as the lates version. Maybe I should update to that one before complaining /P
-
I downloaded it from dhs (http://dhs.nu/misc_ct2.php) where it says 3.4.6. I don't know if it really is 3.4.6 though, I need to check that when I get my Falcon up and running again. I'm currently upgrading it with a CT63 board. /P

You should contact Rodolphe Czuba ASAP at http://www.czuba-tech.com/accueil/english/welcome.htm. He's just now planning for a new small batch of boards. /P

Yes it is, in fact everything is the same. Problem is, I don't know what to look for to see if centscreen is active. The instructions are written by a french guy in very bad english so I am not sure I am doing everything like I should Any help you can give me is appreciated. /P

Being all new to the Falcon I am trying all sorts of stuff in my new computer. Yesterday I tried to install Centscreen but was not successful. I tried following the instructions in the package, ie. copied cntscrn3.prg to my Auto catalog, copied cntscrn3.rsc to the C: root as well as copying mutisyn.dat to the root and renaming it to video.dat. When I reboot there is some sort of message which is new, but it displays so quickly that i can make it out. When up and running I can't reach any of the centscreen options. What am I missing here ?? /P

Nolan Bushnell Signature Series Atari 7800 Console on eBay!
PacMan replied to Albert's topic in Atari 7800
*hehe* OK then, I will not bid anymore /P -
I recently acquired a unit myself. Also managed to get a CT63 from Rodolphe and aiming for a 512MB/EtherNAT equiped system. Just love these old machines, I had the Lattice C-compiler up and running right away and had a working application up and running in a few hours. Mumma (ancient swedish expression for joy ) Update I installed the CT63 board today. I just received the 512MByte SIMM and previously got a power supply that fits inside the falcon. It worked right from the first startup. I will take some pictures and put up here. What an amazing difference compared to the standard falcon, MiNT runs like lightning. /P

That looks absolutely fantastic. Can't wait to get the final product in my hands

Mame is just out of the question for some games. Try playing Tempest on Mame, it sucks severely. It's quite good for other games though.

Email sent.

Put me up for two of those boxes as well. /P

What do you think about this?(Adventure II power ups)
PacMan replied to accousticguitar's topic in Atari 5200
Excellent idea, this will give an extra dimension to the game. /P -
That just looks awesome, as soon as it gets on a cart and a 5200 version is created I will buy a few right away. /P

The one from Maplin will not fit directly, but with a little pin bending and adjusting you can probably make it fit The one you linked to at Farnell is a surface mounted version which means you won't find through holes in the board to mount the Maplin one. But as I mentioned, if the capacitor case fits in the game gear you can bend the pins to meet the pads on the board and solder them down. /P

Darn it, This is what I get from living in europe, working and having to sleep I wanted one to, I guess it's the waiting list then. Then I just have to stop sleeping, stop working and move my stuff over the puddle..... /P

Hmm, how would one synchronize the units ? Is it possible to synch Maria to an external video source ? That would be kind of cool though, but it's probably not possible. /P

I downloaded bas5200 and played with it for a while, great fun with quick results. Calamari should really let someone else take over to maintain it or maybe even develop it further. It's a shame to let something like this die. /P

I am looking for a 130XE in good condition and no mods. It has to be a PAL machine. PM me if you have one for sale. Thanks /P

Today I picked up a mint Videopac G7000 console (Odyssey2 for all you americanos) at a local flee market. It had 8 games with it. Best of all, it is boxed although missing the poly inserts (if there were any) and in absolutely mint condition. It actually looks is if it has never even been played I also snagged a 2600 from the hands of a howling kid who probably didn't know what was front or back. Payed $15 for the lot, kind of beats ebay pricing........ All in al, a great day in the sunshine. /P
