  1. Just tested it, and it does indeed work. video_2021-03-28_22-33-31.mp4
  2. Thanks a lot, that's definitely helpful!
  3. Here's one I got today. 😃 It's my first 7800, though I do have a 2600 jr already. With the owners manual in Norwegian it seems to be one that was actually sold here, at least. So that's pretty cool! It also has the original box. Serial: X1094 003244
  4. I paid 2000 Norwegian kroner, €196, it's about what it would cost to import one from Ebay, with shipping and customs in mind (and probably with less games.)
  5. Most consoles will have games that aren't great. I have looked through videos such as this though:So I have some idea of what I wanna get for it in the future 😃
  6. I bought it off a local seller, because of the whole Covid situation we had to do it on the parking lot outside my apartment building. Him placing the box down on the ground, me sending payment via Vipps (Norwegian payment app). And then him getting back in the car, and leaving before I approached the box. 2021, make every transaction look like a drug deal... 😁 Anyhow, this is the European model, so it has the controllers that are a bit more similar to the NES and Master system controller layout, than the more typical joystick which the 1986 American release got, the year before. I haven't tried it yet, but here's hoping it works. Seller included two NES games in addition to the 2600 and 7800 games. This is now my second Atari console, as I have a 2600 Jr which I bought last year.
  7. Haha, glad it's just the glue then, I was worried it might be mold or something! I'm just starting out on Atari stuff (Though I have other retro systems such as SNES, NES, Famicom, Megadrive etc) so its's a fun learning experience with all the quirks that come with the systems and the games.
  8. Nice, thank you. Mine seems a little worn too. I just got it yesterday together with an Atari 2600 Jr. it's not horrid but it might need a replacement label eventually.
  9. Hi there, I just bought my first 2600 yesterday: Atari 2600 Jr Format: PAL ( I think, I'm not entirely sure though) Made in: Taiwan By Atari Taiwan Manufacturing Corporation Serial number: A1 784234656 I'm not really sure I follow how these S/N's work. So if anyone has any info on that, feel free to tell. 😃
