  1. Titanic is overrated. Everything about it is well done, except for the main story. It's so damn cliche. It pretty much ruins the rest of the movie.

Agreed about Cameron, sadly.  I think "The Terminator" is his best movie overall -- I know a lot of people like T2 better, but I don't -- and "Aliens" is a classic, too.  After that, he seems to have lost his way somehow.  "Avatar" was another big spectacle event that generated a lot of hype when it was new, but again, it came and went without leaving a long-term impression.  Cameron is apparently making something like ten "Avatar" sequels, but I don't see any demand for them.

I will say though, that ANY Avatar sequel is Too Many.  I enjoyed watching Avatar once,  in 3D in the Theater (Where the 3D was pretty incredible)...Unless I was checking out the 3D qualities of a new TV or something...I'd much rather watch Titanic again than Avatar, and yes this is coming from someone who generally prefers Sci-Fi.  Based on the impact it had on me, I'd say Aliens and Titanic are tied for Best Cameron movie,  followed by T2...Jus my 2 cents.
