iCloud is a nuisance and a scam. It is constantly pestering my wife to pay for more storage when i have deleted all content and un-synced it from her photos on iphone multiple times. Apple drives me nuts.

theres always mircosoft or google... Apple is arguably the best platform aside from GNU/Debian/Linux on earth. Apple does exactly what they say they are doing with no hidden agenda... People hate the worst they hate best, what they really hate is what hides in the mirror. Theres always something to be said but good job... and thanks for not exploiting my personal infomation to any third party leech to make a few dollars on and add to the citizen profile and prevent fingerprinting and tracking of my interneting... and selling my dopamine addiction back to me with a prime deal coupon... and for not 10x'ing during this pandemic and keeping your factories open and exposing some 20,000 employee's to covid or suing California for lockdown efforts even though the government cut a large bailout... So define downhill? downhill by way of making an ancient pile that barely worked then totally obsolete today because waiting for an hour to load a program is awesome? Still case in point, all apple's are not only a personal computer but a collectors antique... Charging 20$ for Lion is ridiculous... but largely everything is free and the best and wont sh*t the bed for whatever reason... Wait till the MacPro M5 comes out... downhill to easy street ...

There's a bug in 13 or 14 firmware that doesn't remove the deleted content. if you haven't id update, it's not a huge deal to follow up on like many old school macintosher's would have you believe.... There's plenty of work arounds available so long as you know how, the Apple is a wide open playground. Yes icloud can be nominal p.i.a should you not have access to the garden but in all honesty Apple has stuck to their mission and built a secure non third party data harvesting racket, virtually all exploit proof minus the checkm8 but it still cannot work through the security by which a simple password protects and it cant be used over the air or any way of an evasive remote attack... And that is falling to the wayside... There's always Microsoft, Google, or ???. Linux is doing great things in the mobile space...
