this was the original game I was working on before I realized my ideas were too big to program.... Right now I'm in a band so practicing music takes up all my free time so I have not been programming. I would live to get back on this game some day, or if anyone want to pick up where I left off I will donate what little code I wrote and my design document. Heck, carlsson even wrote a wonderful rendition of the Chariots of Fire theme music for the title screen,

I have Finnegan Fox (Fox N Forests) and Rigid Force Redux on the Switch.....both are good games. At this point, all we can hope is that someone will rescue the rest of the games and release them on current gen consoles. I would love to play those reimaged Intellivision games like AD&D and Night Stalker

wow...despite the issues, this looks good. Hopefully you can work it all out. I've noticed you are working on MANY projects.....how many games have you completed? I've taken a long break from coding but starting lurking on the formums recently. I've have a soft start by working on my latest raspberry pi build but I'm getting the itch to start making a game again. I added my one game to the Intellivision catalog so it's cool to see it there with the real games...lol I still want to go back and further polish it up but have a list of other game I want to try.. I joined a band a couple months ago and have been focusing on music but if that falls apart (it usually does) , I will use the free time to start coding again.

all of this is at least some good news. I took my refund money and put it towards a Nintendo Switch. I will happily buy anything that shows up there. Waiting for Moon Patrol....

I'm at least hoping the games can be released on other systems. They had quite a lot of titles I wanted to play

Can't believe the Amico dram continues. So glad I got my refund and moved on months ago. The last official statement made by Phil left me so underwhelmed I had enough. Deep down I still root for the Amico to come out but I'm just not seeing it happening.

Such a fantastic job. This is so worth packaging and selling. I really need to get back to programming. I have at least 3 unfinished projects.

Well, someone is alive over there because I just FINALLY received my refund from my VIP deposit. I'm sure the dispute I filed with PayPal last week had everything to do with it. This is just a couple days after I sold the 8 "physical games" so thus ends my Amico drama. In the end, I only took about a 30 dollar loss on the physical games but wow, what a long and drama filled ride. It was perfect timing because I bought a Switch on Sunday.

yes, I'm confused, as it seems there is no simple answer. I'll try buying shopping on Amazon Japan, so that is a great tip! it seems like as much as region free gaming is very much a thing now, some regions are more friendly/ready to handle it than others. It looks like I will just have to take each game on a case by case basis and research it.

Hi all - I thought there might be a sticky on this topic and perhaps I didn't do well searching the forum. Just bought a Switch yesterday. I've been buying imports from Play-Asia maybe since before some of you were even born.....lol. It's been a while since I've been into importing, but I know there are tons of great Switch imports. So, my questions is, if I buy games for the Switch off Play-Asia, how will it go about getting updates and DLC? Am I going to have to constantly switch my profile to a different region that accesses those servers or Marketplaces? I used to just buy this stuff pre-online and digital days so i never had to deal with these issues. thanks

probably, but at least it was only 100 bucks. I'm finally tired of the complete lack of communication, and when they do communication its all fluff and no real plan of action or timeline. Done with it. The rabid defenders are getting just as bad as the trolls and it's time to move on from the drama.

I've finally given up hope and requested a refund. Maybe they will process it by 2025.

I've taken a bit of a break from programming but I've been lurking around the forum. I may start up again and try to 'remaster' this game as well as get back to Fast Eddie.

If Bayonetta 3 can finally get a release date.....maybe the Amico can!!! The Bayonetta 3 announcement might finally push me over the edge on asking for an Amico refund that I will put towards getting a Switch. Maybe I'll see a refund by October 28th.....haha

Wow......that Intellivision version of Tainted Love is AWESOME!!!! I'm going to have to use this too to make a song now. I already have 2 I want to do that I think will sound great on Intellivision I've been busy lately because I've been asked by my friend Karl to be a fill in bass player. He runs a music studio and is always looking for players to mix in with his students because he hosts a lot of open mic nights for his students to get up and play live so they can learn better. Apparently he has a shortage of reliable bass players. This is going to be a great learning experience for me as well. I thought I heard somewhere that they have at least manufactured enough consoles to ship to those first waves of pre-orders. (which would include me...lol) Is that true or just wishful thinking on my part?

I've lost all hope, which is a shame. I doubt I will see my deposit returned, and I bought all the fancy 'boxes' so those will be a worthless reminder of the failure.

Man, this place is turning into my personal blog, sorry about that. This year has been terrible for me so far, starting with me getting separated. Then, last Saturday, I got a frantic call from my mother telling me that my oldest brother Phil suddenly passed away in his sleep. He didn't really have any health issues other than being a bit overweight, and had been out the previous night with his wife just fine. Apparently, he must have had some sort of blockage and went into cardiac arrest. His wife woke up at 4AM because he was making noises and she knew right away something was up. He never made it to the hospital and they pronounced him dead in the ambulance. I last spoke to my brother on Valentine's day. He called me and spoke to me for an entire hour knowing what a tough day that would be for me. It was a great call and I at least feel blessed to have that hour with him, not knowing it would be the last time we spoke. He got a kick out of my Sasuke game. On my bartop machine, I got a favorite of his installed on it called Ataxx. When he would visit, he would play that game a lot. Might make a good Intellivision port...hmm I spent all week in the New England area visiting friends and family, some I have not seen in over 7 years. I'm home now, but it's been really tough living alone. I'm looking to find some outdoor hobbies and need to find new friends. All I have here in NC now are my kids and I can't leave them. Hopefully I will find the will and the motivation to pick up the programming soon. I did work out a method for cleanly defining zones to trigger climbing up and down ladders and just have to plug in the logic and test.
