  2. What would really be nice is if Stella started emulating the 7800 as well as have a modern looking interface. I would settle for just for the 7800. Excellent work BTW. Have been using Stella since near the beginning.
  3. Nope, your right. I was probably thinking of Mode 1 where it is 1 color per line. 1+ background Or is that Mode 0.....
  4. Going back to my last question...Was GraySkull rendered in mode 3 with the chunky pixels? I look at this picture from page #1 Or this enhanced version You can see where the pixels would be sharing the same line being one color per line in Mode 2 Where as in Mode 3 (chunky pixels), they would merge very well. Any insider knowledge? Anyone Anyone...Bueller...Bueller
  5. No soup for you. Why can't you just play along. I do everything for a reason.
  6. If we are just discussing the game itself how was Gray Skull drawn because when I look at it the pixels are so tightly knitted it can only be graphics mode 3
  7. How about a dildo with two balls for the firing buttons. What was He-Man about anyway. Extendar....Fisto....Ram-Man....Snout Spout.... Take your pick.
  8. It is done every day even on this site. that 37 year old gray area Masters of the Universe or not. Nintendo can not go after the original Colecovision Donkey Kong So I am trying to understand the logic of why there is no enforcement across the board. The entire Colecovision collection can be grabbed from one site minus the newest Collectorvision what evers which if I had to guess is distributed among the top people on this website, club members, pick one. This is just an observation and not bucking the bull, calling anyone out. I really would like to know the rules before I start distributing or selling my games.
  9. And your toilet drains in the opposite direction.
  10. I think you fell into the same trap I did in the beginning. Use his other thread then follow the link on the first page or this directly. https://www.electricadventures.net/Pages/Category/24 Best to go to his other Atari Age thread in case his direct link changes. On his offsite page click on the "Download latest version" It can be confusing because although the others are depreciated Tony has not found time to remove the buttons. Remember to show Tony some love because it is an awesome program completely free of charge and he is still improving it.
  11. What would really be cool is the source code for study😀
  12. Well think of it this way. You pay $5 thousand for a single game because it is the only one then the programmer of the game gives away copies for free. That just disenfranchised that one person who paid the 5G which that person can then sue for damages. I do not know about Canadian law but I do know a smidgen for US.
  13. I would think an attorney would disagree. However who would you sue. If someone paid $5 grand for what is supposed to be a one of a kind item then there should be no backups and that means not even one in the sellers own collection as well. I would also suspect that every one of you that sell collectorvision games have backups that you shouldn't legally have.
  14. So if NIAD or Pixelboy paid $4500 for a unique and one of a kind rom then the person who they bought it from released the game exactly what do you think their legal recourse would be. One would believe that the value of the game has been incredibly degraded.
  15. ID4 is one of my favorite movies so I like the idea of being important again of using Old Tech because everyone else is to dumb to read a grid square on a map. IE...Walking Dead, The Book of Eli...ID4... I should also brush up on my Ham Radio skills and break out my old radio shack equipment. Imagine that the only way to stop the meltdown is by using a Coleco ADAM because of the bus interface.
  16. Why is there no classes for this. I like to think I am experience with the Colecovision but I am finding out there are some things that are universal in programing that I need to brush up on. My experience is the graphics area and I usually have a sound man do the music and FX. I no longer have that guy so I am stuck. Most everything around this board is in C and the main person who creates beautiful work is Amy Purple who does not make rounds often. Hence, we need Z80 classes and despite this being covered in Tony's book he is also using a 3rd party tool which now I have to install java and it goes on and on. In the mean time I may just hire this guy or my games will never see the light of day.
  17. Outstanding. What is interesting is how in the coming years of tyranny we will be using BBS's to communicate in secret.
  18. Yup, I mastered this game no pun. Then on occasion I would put the cartridge in just to listen to the music same as SNAFU Cloudy Mountain and Deadly disks were my favorite with Microsurgeon in 3rd. SPEAKING OF.... Anything they do on the 994A should be 100% capable on the Colecovision minus intellivoice. So is Coleco-Surgeon just way too much of a game?
