  1. So I guess there is no easy answer to my question: How do you tell NTSC carts from PAL carts?
  2. What's the scoop on Spectravision/Spectravideo games? If they are marked Spectravision does that mean they are NTSC format and when they are marked Spectravideo they are PAL? Are there some that may be marked Spectravideo and still be NTSC carts? Any help here would be greatly appreciated. A link to a page that explains all this would be outstanding! Thanks, islandnerd
  3. HI All, I recently won an auction on eBay for the cart Springer by Tigervision, CIB. Another Atari fan(also an eBayer) has approached me with an offer to trade it for Chase the Chuckwagon, also CIB. I know that Chuckwagon is only marginally rarer than Springer(7 vs. 8 on the rarity scale). Although I see Chuckwagon on eBay often, I have rarely (if ever!) seen Springer, so I'm inclined to hang on to Springer. I don't have Chuckwagon in my collection yet and would love to have one, so I'm not sure what to do. Any input or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks, Kevin
  4. Thanks for all the great input. And what is "Cart Commander"?
  5. Hello, Does anybody know what has happened to the Atari 2600 Nexus web site? It was at "http://ccwf.cc.utexas.edu/~bilstein/atari2600nexus/rarity.html". That is the site I used when I first started collecting 2600 stuff, since they had this nice rating system of "1" to "10", instead of the other system of "R", "ER", "UR", etc. They also had a nice printable list to keep track of what you had and what you didn't have. Can some one tell me where to find them, or are they gone entirely? Thanks, Kevin Bosh St. John, VI
  6. Hi, I'm new to this message board so please bear with me. I'm a 3 year collector of Atari 2600 games and accessories (islandnerd at eBay), and I have a question for the experts (you!). What exactly is the difference or relationship between "Spectravideo" and "Spectravision"? Thanks, Kevin Bosh St. John, VI
