Had a dream last night Tommy was showing off some of the peripherals for Amico. A couple of them involved placing the controller into a remote-controlled monster truck, bicycle, or a thing that could scale the walls, all controlled in-game, sorta like a cooler Mario Kart Live Home Circuit. Is my subconscious onto anything Tommy?? XD

It is so frustrating to go on reddit/elsewhere to discuss Amico and see people all, "delay means bad! I'm OUT", like it's such a burden for you to wait a little bit longer for a finished, tested product, during a pandemic no less, and from a company that, very understandably, and as Tommy has explained many times, cannot afford to botch their launch. I will happily wait patiently for Amico, gives me more time to save up for games, not to mention look forward to a new console for the first time in probably a decade.

This is super exciting! Love that Intellivision is doing accessories and picking up the ball on innovation. I'm so happy I preordered, Intellivision really looks to be bringing back everything I love about video games. And ok that essentially confirms my fear with Ring Fit, but agreed about Nintendo always trying new stuff! Thanks Tommy!

I really love this idea! Makes it a fun little endurance marathon, kind of like a Mario Party minigame where you had to mash the buttons or spin the control stick. Hopefully they have something like that planned for Super Pro Decathalon! ALSO, that leads me to my next question for Tommy, is there any kind of plan for fitness/wellness titles on Amico a la Wii Fit, Ring Fit Adventure, etc? Used to quite enjoy Wii Fit and I like the idea of building a casual wellness routine with a video game, but I can't justify the Switch's pricetag plus Ring Fit's additional $80.

I'm with you, my gaming prime was in the late 90s/throughout the 00s so I mostly discovered the Atari/Intv/Coleco generation in compilations and flashback consoles. But if we can make the Amico successful there's no shortage of possibilities...hopefully it sends a message that people want more remastered classic titles that have seen limited or no re-release.

I am right there with you on SCUD Race/Daytona 2/probably hundreds more Sega games in their catalog collecting dust. It's a shame they don't take advantage of all the incredible stuff they produced in the 90s/00s beyond just the Genesis...the producer of the recent Sega Ages line for Switch recently revealed that Virtua Racing was the best-selling game in that lineup. The public wants it, and you'd think that would be incentive enough for Sega to do more. For Nintendo, Star Fox and F-zero for SURE! Also Earthbound, Metroid, WarioWare...there are lots they have sidelined in favor of what they probably consider the for-sure sellers, Mario/Zelda/Smash Bros. I get the business side of it, but there is a huge demand for nostalgic games that companies just aren't properly taking advantage of. Which is why I'm psyched for Amico.

Tommy, I apologize if this was discussed before but what are your feelings on Pilotwings and would you ever consider developing something similar for Amico? You could probably even make individual games of each minigame...couch co-op skydiving anyone? I feel like the vibes of that game, the music, the intuitive gameplay, and just the overall atmosphere would make for a really cool experience on Amico.

Hi all! New to the forum, super excited for the return to the roots of video gaming and every bit of news/updates on Amico! To add my testimonial: I preordered the woodgrain VIP edition about a month ago but feared I may have missed an email from Intellivision about what to do next. I reached out via email and got a response that following business day from a friendly rep reassuring me I havent missed anything. Terrific customer service! Tommy, I am 100% here for the vision and integrity youve cultivated with Intellivision and I wish you and the company nothing but the best for the Amico launch! I did want to chime in and add that if it hasnt been discussed before...I know Dracula has been mentioned on the list of Imagic Intv. games to be reimagined for Amico. Had a cool thought...wouldn't it be something (TM) if the new game was done in a sort of storybook style, kind of like the cutscenes to the 16-bit Castlevania games? And to keep it E10+, maybe instead of biting people you drape your cloak over them and they become vampires themselves? Not to mention 4 player couch co-op turning each other into Vampires?? Lots of possibilities there.
