  1. Don't get me wrong, eBAY is a great place to get hard to find stuff, heck, a lot of my best games for my Colecovision i got from eBAY.Plus, if it wasn't for eBAY, i wouldn't have a Wind Up Tower for my Evel Knievel Stunt Cycle. The main reason is $$$, game prices are going through the roof, then the shipping costs!?!?, holy crap!!!.I have been away from eBAY for years.I heard a while back the feedback system changed? the buyer can leave feedback, and not the seller, or was it vice versa or has that changed too? Can anyone elaborate? thank you.

  2. The days of me buying games off eBay are over. The prices are just going through the roof!I have payed around $100 for a game, tops. The most i wil pay now is $50-60, but lots of games that could be had for that have now doubled in price in just the last couple of years, especially the INTV stuff, so that leaves me out of the buying bracket.I will look here at AA now if i want games. My Fellow AA members/friends here have been just a pleasure to deal with in very way.

  3. Wow, i can't imagine the giant task some of you may have reorganizing.I strictly only have classic consoles, several models of each of 400, 2600, 7800, Intv, Colecovision. The reason for that is not a restrictive one, i just have no interest in anything past the NES, i don't even own an NES.So it's working out fine for me.I just couldn't handle anymore consoles, there's just too much out there, quite mindblowing actually.

  4. I had a feeling the price would keep going up on MM.I'm glad i bought 2 about 3 years ago.I have 1 sealed copy and 1 loose.I'd say the price is still worth it, it's a fun game. MM is a 7800 exclusive, can't play it anywhere else, i say get it if you can, it will only keep going up in price.I play it every Halloween.I paid around $50 for the sealed and about $35 for the loose IIRC.

  5. Yeah, saw the movie.Movies from the 80's were "THE BEST" AFAIC.I am going to watch "Fastimes At Ridgemont High" tonight.I wish they still made movies in this style. Most seem cheesy by todays standards, but 80's movies were fun as heck to watch, unlike todays lame movies.

  6. Well, i consider myself VERY fortunate.I got my copy of DK2 today.Am i impressed? you bet i am

!! I went straight to the source, ELEKTRONITE, since i live just 3 miles away and asked very nicely, and bought it there, ahead of time. The box is GATEFOLD!! a very beautiful high gloss blue box with gorgeous artwork. The package came with a just as beautiful manual made out of very thick glossy paper with the same gorgeous artwork. The overlays, YES, overlays, what can i say, okay, i'll say it again...BEAUTIFUL.The cartridge itself is very similar to the ACTIVISION casing which imo is the best design. The circuit board is nice and thick, which i like. The caliber of games in this package is just outstanding, gameplay, graphics, sound, everything is fantastic.Thanxs to all involved!!!!!!           :) ;) Thanks especially to you William!!

  7. Yep, i own the DVD.And Billy Mitchell is not a nasty scum bag like he was portrayed. The REAL "SCUMBAGS" are the producers of the movie who manipulated and edited the movie to make Billy look bad.I believe Billy to be a caring and giving individual. The media can make anyone out to be a scumbag, and i refuse to judge anyone by what the media portrays as someones character to be as.Also, yeah, Billy brags, but at least he can back himself, because he IS the best.Like Famous boxer Mohammed ALI, he bragged all the time about his prowess in the ring, because he WAS the best, and could back it up.That is my honest opinion. In all honesty, i don't know why Steve Weibe would want to be part of those morons at Funspot, which most were pretty pathetic.

  8. Don't worry about it.I figure it this way.Through all the years i have been collecting game cartridges that have come from dark, dirty, dusty, damp, places, and stored every which way possible, they have ALL worked, and only encountered several with destroyed labels.I'm pretty sure where you have them or your method of storage can be no worse condsidering where they have been or treated before.

  9. Offer 40 take it or leave it is my opinion.......and that is being generous.

If you are looking for specific things Rik, I know you are local to me. I am out of collecting (everything) for the Intellivision now, and am willing to let some of my rarer stuff go for fair prices....depending on the item of course......

D2K will be ready for sale complete in box in a few weeks probably.......you can come by and get one......the place is a little more organized than during your last visit. :-)

Okay, thanks for the heads up, i will see you soon.

  10. Reviews to me are only good to get a brief idea of what a game is like.Taking a review to heart and not buying a game just because a reviewer said to avoid ,which some do, is totally moronic. But i guess a collector would buy just to get the game into their collection bad or good, where as a picky gamer might not buy, their choice and perogative.Point is, everyone has different tastes to what is a bad or good game, it's all relative. So for me, i judge for myself.Funny thing is, a lot of games that were judged as lack for a better word "CRAP" buy some reviewers, turned to be my favorite games. One would miss out on a lot of great gaming if they listened to reviewers!!And yes,i agree that Desert Falcon is a cool game! One can't expect everyone to like and dislike the same games. So i say who cares what a reviewer said, if you enjoy the game, that's all that counts. ;)

  11. Thanks for the replys so far.Like i thought, $75 is way too much, he can keep it.I just realised he was trying to sucker me in, since im pretty sure he already over charged me for CIB, both shrink wrap removed, Truckin and Ice Trek.I paid like, well im too embarassed to say, but it was WAAAY too much.

Don't feel bad, both those games can be hard to find in really nice shape. As ghsqb said, most of us have highly overpaid for INTV stuff in the past. In fact, back to the original topic, I once paid $225 for a sealed Atari Changer. :-o In fact, if the boxes you have are minty I'd be willing to take them as upgrades and make it worth your while. :)

Okay, i figure i shouldn't feel too embarassed, i'll reveal what i paid.I paid $45 each for Truckin and Ice Trek. Both CIB, but shrink wrap removed on both (opened).

  12. Well thanks for the kind replys.I do have to say, the guys games were all boxed, which were in mint to fair condition box wise, and all complete with original manuals and everything.I do remember picking a "Scooby-Doo" game and "Thin Ice" and a bunch of other games that i've never seen in the wild before.I picked out like 12-15 of these games and the total price came to $300-325.I think i had some fairly decently rare ones in there. When i asked why the price was so much, he said i picked out all the real good ones he had, that were also pretty hard to find.I really haven't been up on what Intellivision games are going for, i sense the demand is pretty high for Intv games, thus the prices going up.Can anyone kindly refer me to a fairly up to date price guide for all INTV games?, i'd like to have an idea what the rarity is so i can at least know for sure a game marked as rare and hard to find is indeed just that.Like was recommended. i'll look here at AA 1st, next time. :) ;)

  13. Maybe not the hardest, maybe the most complicated "Space Shuttle"I have the game but just haven't played it yet so i really can't comment.Just by looking at the manual and console overlays, it looks both complicated and hard to play. What do you guys think?

  15. First, sorry if this was posted in the wrong thread, wasn't quite sure where to post. You see, i have a chance to buy a 2600 System Changer for my Intellivision 2.The thing is unboxed, and in mint condition, and the guy wants $75.00 CDN for it.I tried looking on eBay for an idea of what they're going for and couldn't find one.Is $75 too much? I am not saying it isn't worth it, but i don't want to over pay either, thanx guys.

  16. Is Enduro the best racing game? i assume you mean for the 2600?, then IMO, yes.Enduro is 3rd person as the car is visable on the screen.First person would have you looking out the windshield, right? Enduro is pretty damned good, like most of the games from Activision. To me it is the best racing game for the 2600, be it 1st or 3rd person.
