  1. Never mind, my question was already answered.
  2. What these deadbeat sellers need is to be stolen from, ripped off, etc., just like they do to others. On the other hand, these deadbeats have no moral conscience, so that probably wouldn't work.People are people and one just has to weed out the good from the bad from experience, that's about all one can do.A no good seller will show signs that they'll eventually rip you off or has the potential to.Just how they speak, write emails.I've put bad sellers on my "SHIT SELLER LIST".Although i have gotten my items, the sellers "ATTITUDE" is a big tip-off, and end up on my shit list regardless if they are rude to me in ANY WAY.That's what you gotta do.If i receive an item in dirty disqusting condition, that's enough for me to blacklist that seller, because that's a sign for bad things to come in the future, from my experience. This is all from Ebay experience, which i no longer buy from anyway, TOO MANY DEADBEAT SELLERS, it's gotten worse.I buy from the guys here at AA, and so far have been the absolute BEST ANYWHERE.
  3. I had a similar problem with Midnight Mutants, will NOT work with 3rd party controllers at ANY time, with all the ones I have anyway.I had the same problem, and as soon as I plugged in the pro-line, problem solved. The screen would just be totally black.Several members had that problem and I mentioned this over a year ago, and i don't know why more have noticed this.
  4. It figures, I have tons of games for the 2600, and have NONE in that list!!
  5. I couldn't agree with you more.Problem is, once you mention that 3 letter word, folks ridicule and you get scolded by the mods, that and Politics.Understandable though, folks can't discus these issues without flaming and name calling, and both sides are guilty of that, its a shame really.
  6. I found a mint loose SpaceMaster X-7 about a month ago.I never noticed the embedded Fox logo.I just looked at my Porky's copy and yes, it has the embedded logo.
  7. Yikes!Thanx for mentioning that, that's something I'll look out for when opening up my CV's
  8. That 1st post is similar in the way Atari and other 3rd party makers marketed their games. The box art always gave you high expectations no matter what with the spectacular art work.Pop the game in and those cool evil looking monsters/characters look like Gingerbread Men or stick figures.
  9. At least that filthy 2600 is in one piece, that's what counts, can easily be cleaned.
  10. Perhaps those boxes were printed without color to cut costs?, we all know how absurdly high color ink costs.
  11. This game is pretty darn challenging too, i might add, besides beautiful graphics and music/sound.I love Smurf games. Is there any chance for more Colecovision Smurf games?, i would buy them ALL!
  12. And..YES!, all the games work.I hope a FB3 comes out!
  13. Today i found a mint Flashback 2.I didn't know much about them. This thing has Haunted House 2, Save Mary, Secret Quest, Saboteur.I didn't realize these flashbacks had such fantastic games included.I figured even if the machine turns out not to work, the nice new joysticks would still make it worth it.I paid $9.99 for it.
  14. I see it still there on the sidebar, between NAVA and Other Products. Yeah but click on it, an error screen comes up saying rarity guide is temporarily not available, been like that for a long time, that's the case for me anyway. It worked for me when I tried it then, and worked again just now. Maybe it's something about your web browser and the message is just telling you the wrong thing? Thank you for the heads up .Since it's working for others, I now know it's not the site so I hope I can figure out what the problem is with my browser, probably just a setting or something.
  15. Got mine today from Mr. Jean F.Dupuis.Really fun game, beautiful box!!.I like the half blue/white cartridge case, superb job.My hat's off to all involved.

  17. I'm no adept at 2600 programming or the technical details, but it just blows me away at how much of a versatile machine the 2600 really is.I mean look at the 1st games done on the 2600, then look at the fantastic home brews of today.Another question would be,"What other programming tricks can be done on the 2600 that improve graphics, sound etc.?", has the 2600 reached it's limit? It seems this machine never ceases to amaze, truly an amazing piece of video gaming history. The 2600 really is the KING of video gaming consoles IMO.
  18. That would be GREAT!!!.I too have wondered what the Coleco buildings looked like and who the employees were.Wasn't Coleco headquartered in Montreal Canada?Sorry i have no pics, if i did i'd send them to you for sure.I hope you succeed, i would very much love to see the results.
  19. That's not such a bad thing, the prices on their guide were way off for the most part. Especially Atari IIRC. There is a price guide at atari2600.com that is a bit better for 2600 carts. However, something is only "worth" what someone is willing to pay for it so a completed search on ebay is pretty much what a game is worth right now. Thanx for the headsup for a better rarity guide at Atari2600, i'll give it a try.
  20. That's all they are... opinions. Some seem to think opinions are fact.We all have brains and are quite capable of figuring out things for ourselves, don't need reviewers to do it for us.Reviewers telling us what and not to buy is an insult to anyone.
  21. Nice finds, especially with Sorcerer's Apprentice...I need that one too. But, it's not a thrift find without telling the price! Oh yeah, i forgot, i got all 5 for $10.00. I just saw Sorcerer's apprentice at Ebay and it ranges from $6.99 to over $30.00 , what's it REALLY WORTH? BTW, wtf is up with the online rarity guide at digitpress?, It's either gone or offline.

  23. Well ,nothing to brag about but today i found for 2600, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Radar, Cookie Monster Munch, Big Bird Egg Hatch, and Alpha Beam With Ernie, all in mint condition , no Actiplaque.Still ones i didn't have so that's always cool.
  24. If you look into the cart connector, is the plastic around the contacts white or green? The green ones were known for failing much faster than the white ones. Probably a silly question, but do you mean the spaces between the contacts?, or the plastic directly behind the contacts? The spaces between the contacts on my Porky's cart are white, but the plastic right behind the contacts is green.
  25. Wow!I really would like to get 5200 Pitfall 2.Problem is i have never ever seen a 5200 console in my life!, in stores, flea markets, thrifts, no where. And Ebay is too expensive considering the thing weighs a ton and would cost too much to ship.I'll just have to hope one shows up somewhere.I've told all the stores i go to to call me if they run into one, that was over 5 years ago and no luck.
