I decided to pay a little more for a game doctor because I read somewhere that everdrives don't work properly. I heard that they have a design flaw- something about the system requiring a 5v circuit and the everdrive only being built for 3.3 volts. I don't know if that's true, but I didn't want to risk it. And I had a bunch of old floppies laying around doing nothing, so I decided to give them a use. Sure, it takes 3 minutes to load up Donkey Kong Country, but I don't mind- I just like using floppies.
Btw, did you have a particular favorite backup device? -
Great. I will check my local computer recycling center. They usually have vintage computers there.

Near where I lived there used to be a 80s arcade called Grinkers. It was the best place ever.
3 key selling points:
1. over 300 arcade machines
2. each game was 25 cents
3. $1 root beer floatsThey had some rare machines, like a Missile Command Cockpit and I robot.
But then covid hit and they closed forever. I was very sad. apparently the machines were sold to a collector in Salt Lake City.
I took some video back in January of Grinkers before they closed.-

I will have to try that. I have a early 2000s computer that runs Windows 98 in DOS mode. I have some 5.25 drives, but I can't get them to work with that computer (I probably need a new one.)
Thank you! -
Edit:
I dislike Sony for 2 reasons
1. The controller is bad and is a snes ripoff.2. Sony killed Sega.

I love Sega and I absolutely HATE Sony. I hate the Playstation and the only reason that I would buy one would be to make a video of me burning it. Lol. Maybe not. I just wont try sony ps.

I would like that too. Where is it for sale?
-
You're correct. I want to download programs and put them on disks. However, I don't like modding old hardware, and my trs-80 would be just about the last thing I would mod. Besides, the floppy drives work fine. If there was a floppy disk emulator instead of a floppy drive emulator, that I would like to have. Or if there is a usb to 5.25 drive adapter. There might not be many options for me.

Too bad there isn't a custom made Voice, I really want one
-
I would get the Voice, but it isn't cheap. I will look in to that multicart. Thanks.

Is there a way to make disks for my trs-80 4p? I have some blank 5.25 disks. How do I put programs on them?

I bought a boxed Oddysey 2 off of craigslist earlier this year for $25. It came with speedway/spinout/crypto-logic but I bought 3 more games(blockout, kc munchkin, and attack of the timelord.) What are some recommended games to buy for this system?

Hello Atariage! This is my first post. I collect retro video games, and I was wondering how many people have snes/super famicom backup devices. I recently bought a Bung Game Doctor SF6 for $150. It is great for playing homebrews as well as roms. Does anyone else have any other different backup devices?
