I called them and they said with a stern voice "NO"

Ok, I moved out of the house into a small apartment for myself, again (Boomerang Child), and in the move the CRT TV I use for my classic game systems like NES and the like was damaged (on my own accord...maybe I should have payed for movers), and now all I have is my LCD TV...which makes classic consoles that run at 480i and under resolutions look bad. At a local pawn shop, they have a High Definition CRT TV for sale for $50, I was thinking it would be good to put in a game room and leave my LCD for Television and movies. How do classic games look on a High Definition CRT TV, do they look as bad as they do on a LCD TV?

Hello, I recently got a Sega CD for Christmas from my girlfriend, and it doesn't work because the guy she got it from didn't know how to test something. Its a model 1 CD, and it has the issue where it spits out the CD tray every 3 seconds, and the CD unit itself keeps on falling off the spinning chassis, other than that it works fine. Its a lemon that I will keep, just to keep it out of circulation. If you can fix it (100% sure you can like if you have done it many times before), you can buy it off me for cheap. Be forwarned that the guy before me had it apart so many times that many many screws are missing. Ok, I am looking for a replacement Sega CD, one that works. Either model is fine as long as it works. I dont have a lot of cash (like $40), so I dont care if doesn't look the prettiest, I just want one that works. Power cord unnecessary, games are unnecessary, but welcome.

Commodore 64 and after market drive. Both boxed.
gamer2 replied to Allan's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
What exactly does it do? Is it just a fancy looking floppy drive for the C64? -
Just throwing this out there, feel free to say no, but would you take $10 shipped for just the computer itself, and the cable to hook a floppy drive to it? If not, would you take a broken Sega CD model 1 to trade. Its pretty much got the same issue as most model 1s, but I cant be assed to fix it.

I am not looking to spend more than $50 total.

What games, I already have 5.

Yea, I got a Sega CD model 1 for christmas, and it has the tray issue where it opens and closes on its own. I did as much as I could, but I don't think I can do any more. It needs a belt and it needs re-aligned, possibly more. I would also take a sega CD model 2 (w/ or w/o games, but must have power coard) in its stead. It doesnt have to be CIB, this isnt for a collection, its for USE.

Ok, I have a PSP 2000 series, it has custom firmware (I will remove it at request), 6 games (5 if I cant find infected), and a 16 gig memory stick. I wana know what I could get out of it. The system is in fine condition, and works like a gem. I also have a box that I can put it in, a PSP 1000 box, but it is a PSP 2000 system. I would consider a trade for a wii (games optional). I would also trade for a classic game console I don't have yet, mostly looking for TG-16/Turbo Duo, 3DO, Odyssey 2, ColecoVision, CDi, and Famicom/FDS. And games for NES, Genesis, SNES, Sega CD, 2600/7800, Dreamcast, Saturn, N64 as well as games for the aforementioned consoles assuming I have the console. The consoles have to be complete (hook ups, power, and controller) but dont have to have a box. That goes for games too, CDs need to atleast have a sleeve. Here is a video to show it does work. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSgKVHMUE6o hmm, I can do $150 for the lot.

This is where you will lose. The item sent MUST be identical to the listing page. Having a Fullscreen case/Widescreen disc will not cut it. Your only recourse is to offer a refund upon return of the DVD. You may have to offer a shipping label in order for the buyer to ship it back to you. If it is not worth dealing with shipping back or buyer is uncooperative, I would refund and learn from this experience. Putting any differences to the page listing in the Comments will not cover you. This is covered on Item 16 in the first link below. If he AtoZ you, you will lose automatically. I would advise you to take care of this before the buyer does this. If Amazon reviews this case, they may suspend your account like they did to Rick. Thread on Amazon for ebay sellers and newbs Amazon selling rules Next time, if your item is not identical to Amazon's listing, sell it on ebay or half. Amazon takes a hard line on this rule. Ah, but you see they are dodging me when I ask them to ship it back for a refund.

This could be a problem. If the customer's claims are true, when the buyer AtoZs you, Amazon will side with the buyer because the item is materially different than the listing shown on the page you listed it on. They will not require your customer to return the item. If you are certain of the version you sold and the disc version inside, I would stand by that claim otherwise you automatically lose. I would then claim that customer would get a refund upon return of the item. Amazon is not ebay. You have to send EXACTLY what is shown on the page(down to the UPC code). You do no get to put in the comments that it is a slightly different version. If you do, the scam buyer knows he just got a free item. I had a person try to claim my item was "Materially Different". He lost because I am the only manufacturer of my item and I define what the item is. With DVDs you most likely are not the manufacturer. I mentioned in the description it was was the widescreen version, but they keep on complaining I sent the full screen version, because thats what it says on the cover (despite the disc saying Widescreen).

What game, because I am sure with 20 and 60 gig models are 100% compatible.

As a amazon seller, I can feel your pain. I sold a person a copy of Artificial intelligence. The cover said "Full Screen" but the disc is wide-screen. The person has been for lack of a better word "Bitching" at me to refund them. I have mentioned several times for them to send it back and they'll get a refund, and they wont talk about sending it back. One of the bad things about selling online, trying to get free stuff, its terrible that people would do it. Since it was 25 days after it said it was delivered, I would not have dealt with him because odds are, the damage could have been an error of his own, and he just wanted to get rid of it.

How much would you give for a PSP-2000 model, with custom firmware and a 16 gig memory stick.
