  1. maybe I should have put this in classic gaming...
  2. Hve you ever bought a system just for one game? Or bought a system and ended up only buying one game for it and it ended up being all you needed? Or something along those lines... I would have to say, Halo 2 is mine. I got an xbox about a year and a half ago, and I have about 7 games for it. Halo 2 is practically the only game I ever play for it, and I never get bored playing it. I'd say it would be worth forking over 100 for an xbox just to get this game. What's yours?
  3. no.. it was some pc game set around the time of age of empires.
  4. I think they should definitley stick the flood in there and make them similar to starcraft's zerg. Maybe they will allow you take command of your commander in fps for a short amount of time, like in that one rts...whatever it was called.
  5. I bet in nintendo made this, it would be a big hit. It's just... it looks too much like a video now to be a video game system.
  6. sorry to break it to you, but it is rts.
  7. Go to the end of the paragraph and hit the word "here" Very awsome trailer... not sure about the game
  8. Yeah, I'd definitely have to say that Halo 2 is my all-time favorite game. A lot of people like the first better, but I just enjoy the second way too much. Unfortunately, you can't play co-op online, but I always thought playing online against others was fun. I have come out on top three more than half of my games (which is very good). If you can ever manage to get an xbox hooked up to play co-op, the level "the library" is very, very fun with two people. P.s. if you like the game, check this out (okay, it has nothing to do with the game, except for how it's made, but it's as funny as hell) red vs blue Don't watch the ones posted until you see the originals though. I'm not exactly sure where you go to find the original episodes, but I know they're now out on dvd.
  9. Experiment. Just try hitting random buttons in the area of the movement keys.
  10. Maybe it has something to do with the system being so damn big
  11. Just so you know, if I don't list the keys, it's because I haven't played in a while. They aren't that hard to figure out, so I bet you can do it. At that part... Are the doors damaged? If so, I believe you that is the part where you punch them open. If not, try looking around for something you can jump over. If those two don't work, try looking for something to crouch under. If none of these work, or if you look around and don't see anything, try walking around and start looking for alternate routes. When you get there, just repeat the steps above. This will pretty much get you through the whole game, exept for the thing about punching the door open. That only happens once, in the beginning (don't ask me why it's in the tutuorial stage). Here are some tips: 1. A good way to kill a hunter is with a pistol. I believe two shots to the uncovered area drops it, but it could be a bit more (like I said, I haven't played in a while). If you can't get him to expose the unexposed flesh (no comment needed by NE146), just stand in front of him. When he lifts his arm up, get the hell out of the way. When he brings his arm down, he will bend over, exposing a large chunk of flesh on his back, giving you enough time and space to drop him. These guys can seem intimidating at first, but they are really just big bitches. 2. Never engage in close combat with the flood. Just don't. Hope that helps!
  12. Well, I went today. Nothing. Barely anybody partcipated. Does anybody know any good online websites to buy atari stuff?
  13. Hmm... I always thought it depended on what part of the country you were from. For example: I've heard of many people saying what you just did, but I just moved here from south Vermont, and in Vermont, the chances of finding something at an event like this were extremely high. Then again, there aren't neighborhoods in south vermont.
  14. I can't wait for this. I'll be waking up at the crack of dawn... or noon, to find as many classic games as I can, and hopefully give my collection a good boost! Anyone else have good experiences from these?
  15. I heard they finally came out with this, but all I could find were things explaining how to use it, and nothing that actually downgraded the firmware.
  16. yeah, but it was working for the three hours I was playing it before that
  17. what do you mean? Yeah, that's probably it (slaps self for not thinking of that). Lemme see, I think I have a spare somewhere...
  18. Oaky, the other day, I was playing Ps2, and lighting hit about a quarter of a mile away from our house and power went off for a breif second, and immediately after it came back on and went back to the game right where I left off. I immediadely turned off the Ps2, and didn't play for the rest of the day. Now, as I am playing it, it spontaniously shuts off. Could this have something to do with the lightning, and if so, how can I fix it? P.S. The lighting seemed many miles away , and I was planning on shutting down the system in two minutes anyway to avoid this happening. I was not just being an idiot.
  19. hmm... In response to the original post, I'd have to stick I don't like the N64 thumb stick. Whenever my thumb gets sweaty, I need to push on the side of it, rather that just stick my thumb on top and move it around, like the other modern sytems. It just makes it harder to switch from going from front to back and vice versa.
