i picked up a rubbermaid tub recently and the static inside was palpable. I was just wondering if anyone ever had an issue, but it sounds like it's not really a problem.

i own several of those, but i'm still interested in this compilation. looks like a winner to me.

any risk in storing games and consoles in large plastic boxes/crates, I'm a little wary of static buildup. opinions? anecdotes?

War of the Worlds sound VERY interesting...but wouldn't that be a lot like Space Invaders?? depends - the book was more of a quest/evasion story than a shooter. I'm kinda seeing pitfall with tripods.

About as many times as you can make Halo or Call Of Duty derivatives. i doubt they'll make "Master Chief is Missing" anytime soon.

fair or not - the wii has kind of become known as the shovel ware system. I guess it comes from finding wii games in drugstores and gas stations. it's not really nintendo's fault, they are a victim of their own success. and if some no name company wants to throw money at them to buy a wii license to make Ziggy party games or Precious Moments racing, why should nintendo say no?

walmart was bundling wiis with cheap plastic wiimote sleeves and a couple games for $400-$500. i expect they will do that again.

I think its probably also a function of stream strength vs. wind speed. The average male has a 20-25 mL/sec peak flow rate which can vary based on retention, a wind velocity higher than 2 on the Beaufort scale could be problematic depending on if you factor in the pressure gradient and coriolis effect.
